Maria is typical of a narc personality. She needs to be in total control, and she resents her children, almost a jealousy;, they have a social life and she doesn't. So her method is to control - limit Chloe from seeing friends, restrict her choices of clothes. Keep them infantilised so there is a dependency. Is actually a toxic co-dependency as Maria needs it more than her children. But because they are children they abide by what their mother dictates, until..... Problem is, and I watched it with one of my closest friends. They can rebel, and as soon as they can cut all ties with the toxic parent. Phil needs to step up. He's nothing more than an enabler. He's doing his children no favours.
She did share Rs dyslexia diagnosis. And that Phil is also dyslexic. Idk if the kids are diagnosed but def a lot of clear traits.

Agree Chloe will get the shock of her life next year. Mfm is keeping those kids in a bubble and not preparing them for the world around them. Chloe seems very young for her age compared to most Y8s. So very sad.
