I don't think I'll ever be over the fact he was robbed from competing in such a cruel way, strictly definitely wasn't the same once he went, the remaining competition felt very flat to me tbh and I lost all interest in it. He would have been a definite finalist despite the judges best efforts with their snide comments etc.

Watching the ep where Dennis proposes. I don't know how Letitia Dean was able to learn her lines, I'd have been distracted having to act opposite him

I honestly couldn't face it last night either i didnt particularly want to go out in the middle of a bloody storm but I ended up saying yes to a take away round my mates house just to get me out and away from it, i felt so stupid for still feeling low so I'm honestly glad I'm not alone


ETA : Has it definitely been confirmed he's back for final and might do the group dance etc ?

I’m sure it was Katya who mentioned on her IG stories that he’d be back. And the press confirmed it too - in between dragging his name through the mud

Count me in as someone else who hasn’t watched Strictly since Nigel and Katya left. I watched the two of them on the live show last week and their ITT interview but, beyond the Class of 2023 group dance, I have no desire to watch any more Strictly this year. I enjoyed dances from other couples but it was all about Nigel and Katya really.

The show is all about joy for me and I know myself well enough to know I’d only have spent the quarter-final and semi-final thinking about what could and should have been rather than finding joy in watching the couples who are left.

I didn’t even watch it last night. Just couldn’t be arsed now

I just basically had it on in the background, only turned it up when he was interviewed. He was self deprecating and modest as always, but it seems like he really enjoyed his Strictly experience.

Gutted he had to leave, but at least he never faced the dance off and we can all live with the very real hope he might‘ve won. As others said, really hope this leads to new and better roles for him too.

Honestly we all see from back in week 2 that Shirley wants him gone like she's not even trying to hide it at this point so she was no surprise it was Motsi last night chatting utter rubbish that was just so unnecessary imo

It smacks of jealousy to me which seems really unlikely in context but that’s what it comes across as. Very, very strange and unfair.

We had two Halloween themed cha cha's this week both got a 30 so its an equal comparison that were given -

Every thing Bobby did right was applauded and met with a smile and such joy from Shirley

Every thing Nigel did wrong was pointed out and met with a face of disgust/disappointment/aggression from Shirley

Both dances were worthy of the same mark, no better no worse (we are told) but look at how one contestant was treated compared to the other for ultimatly the same outcome .

Completely agree. What utter bollox. They really are picking on him and I have no idea why.

Today was lovely the way he looked after Dot and going to the specialist with her, I'm so over Dennis and Zoe its amazing the difference in chemistry compared to him and Tish Dean can't wait to see it all unfold again .

Any Eastenders episode that involved scenes between Dennis and Dot or Dennis and Sharon was bound to be a good one.

The chemistry between Nigel and Tish was electric - unlike him and Michelle Ryan. Zoe was always just a placeholder for the woman he really wanted. And Sharon can marry as many men as the EE writers want but Dennis was clearly the love of her life.

Just saw this thread thank you for this I loved ever since Dennis role and im still gutted he had to withdraw because of injury he and Katya were Strictly for me this year.
