He's also quite the misogynist as well. The only serious post (as it's so bizarre to me that he has what seems to be a rave thread 🤣) I'll put on this thread (maybe) is to suggest googling his name with 'maternity' or 'women'. It's really not great and it's not spin, just the first few results are his own words or previous policies (which I very much doubt have changed, unless he's had a lobotomy of late - not on the NHS obvs, as he now says his £350m pledge was a 'mistake').

I can absolutely see how folk can be sucked in by the rhetoric, particularly as the left can (and are, in a lot of instances) be seen as so hypocritical and divisive (especially if you're working class), but he really, really doesn't like you if you aren't a rich white man.

Absolutely scundered for him. What a thin skinned dweeb he really is. He should use some of that £5 million to buy himself a fucking decent personality

I've been on the election forum this evening after a long day out. I'm not sure why I bother.

I'm polite (ish) yet the flying monkeys coming for you.

Always said, I'm happy to eat crow if I'm proven wrong, but because I went with my gut this time I am a bad Jew.

I'm exhausted.
They’re tolerant of everyone- unless they don’t agree with you 😹

Okay but it was obviously built for a reason, based on research and economic demand, for leisure and business people in the area. The clue is in the name, holiday inn. Why is it now a storage facility for migrants, bringing a loss of business and spending money to an already deprived town?
I’d say the same about a bunch of Brits being dumped in a hotel in Somalia by the way, it’s nothing to do with demonising these people it’s just facts.
And they’re not all asylum seekers in desperate need I’m not even going there ☠
As already said, we don’t know if it were viable as a hotel and the owners obviously decided this was a better deal, nobody was forcing them to take migrants and it wasn’t a public service establishment so they can do what they want. As for other hotels, I quick google shows there’s plenty of other options so next time you want to holiday there you’ll be fine 😉. As to why we have hotels full of migrants, a lot of this is down to lack of processing which is down to lack of resources to do this during the last governments tenure, the new one has pledged to improve this but obviously no progress yet. The lack of processing also leads to us not knowing who is a genuine refugee and none of this is the fault of the people actually in the hotel, anybody focusing hate at them is directing it in the wrong direction and anybody encouraging such though is directly responsible for inciting the behaviours we’ve seen recently.

Immigration also doesn’t hit those at the top as hard. It’s really a privilege issue- of course politicians are privileged, that’s why they can’t sort everything out properly. So frustrating :)

And the coutts issue is freedom of speech. You really don’t want to have your rights taken away by the establishment…
Again, Nigel is part of the establishment. He comes from money and he has enough of it, otherwise he wouldn't be able to have a Coutts account. He plays the "plebs" like a fiddle.

Nigel can't whinge about freedom of speech when he's had a massive platform in the media for some years now to spout his antagonistic drivel.

Anyone remember this?

Okay but we really don’t need multiple entire hotels full of asylum seekers (most of which will come from Calais which is safe). We just don’t sorry. That’s the issue he’s trying to raise.

If anyone really has made racist or xenophobic comments I don’t think anyone would condone them, but it boils down to anyone concerned about mass immigration being called racist and xenophobic.
Farage has made frequent racist and xenophobic comments as did the likes of Boris Johnson.

Nigel is that jovial family member you knky ever see at Christmas, funerals and weddings.
Laughing and joking and generally being a bit of fun until he goes off on one about migrants and boats.
"Oh, it's just Uncle Nige, don't make a fuss."

He is one of the prime reasons this country has descended into the state it is in and why hate speech is becoming more and more commonplace.
Do I think he believes half of what he says, when he has a Eurpoean wife, takes money from Europe and lives in Europe?
No.
He's like Piers Morgan in that respect; a contrarian.

Is he coming across well in IAC?
Yes.
Is he still a nob?
Yes.
---
Face it; this country is so fucked at the moment because of politicians making sure they and their mates get big paydays. The NHS isn't in a mess because of immigration; it's in a mess because the government for the last decade has funelled money to their pals.

But this is a thread about Nigel so... is he watchable? Yes.
Is he still a nob?
Yes.

When is this cunt going to be arrested? He’s the cause of the rioting we are currently seeing with the bile he’s spouting.

Indeed. Alas, some people's comprehension skills don't seem to be up to much.

The idea of people worrying about the boats...let's just say that I clearly mix in different circles. There's not one person I know that I've heard coming out with that, thankfully.
So that’s two digs at posters on here and not one actual argument about why we shouldn’t worry about the boats 😆

Foreigner here! I came to the Uk 30 years ago. My grand parents families were immigrants who had then resettled elsewhere.

I came to the UK on a working holiday visa before getting an ancestry visa. I then worked really hard, paid my taxes, never claimed benefits to finally be naturalised.

I’ve always loved the UK (London) for being so multicultural. Like someone else said the UK was built on immigration.

However what really upset me at my naturalisation ceremony there were people who couldn’t speak a word of English.

I know the process for citizenship has now changed but surely people living in the UK should at least be able to speak the language?

I‘m still waiting for someone to adequately explain what this establishment is that the multi millionaire, tv host, privately educated Nigel is taking on.
The police, leftys, vegetarians and Nick Ferrari apparently.
I mean who could look any more antiestablishment than this rugged, horny handed man of the people?
