How have terrorists been prioritised over public safety? I’m pretty sure the Southport murderer has been remanded in custody without bail since his arrest? What more do you want them to do with him whilst he is awaiting trial?

So I just google the Bangladeshi comment and it seems that all he was saying is that Bangladesh is a safe-country - which the Tories have been using constantly as an argument for their asylum policies

In the year ending March 2024, there were 3,384 asylum applications from Bangladeshis seeking refuge in Britain.

Bangladesh ranked eighth among countries with the most asylum applications, following Afghanistan, Iran, Pakistan, Eritrea, India, Turkey and Sudan.

Abdul Razzak, who volunteers as a translator in British asylum cases, said that many Bangladeshi asylum seekers have their applications granted based on human rights grounds.

I guess it's fine when the Tories say it about all the other countries because there's just no way that the UK have communities from Afghanistan, Iran or Pakistan or any of the above countries?

Irish and Italians? Hardly a sink/deprived school then, they’re wealthy immigrants to the UK in general. Greece is a poorer country but Greeks don’t tend to cause social problems.

The school I went to was in Scotland. I moved to England as an adult.

ETA I had an Irish friend who lived near me (when I was at school) who lived in a two bed council house with her mum, gran and her sister. They were not living the rich immigration dream.

Didn’t he say that Brexit would be brilliant? LIE
Or that he’d been told by the Speaker that holding constituency surgeries was too dangerous? LIE
Or that the EU was costing Britain £55million a day? LIE
Or that 40 billion Turkish people were on the point of surging unchecked into Britain? LIE
Or that Britain was a member of the World Economic Forum? LIE And that Reform would cancel Britain’s membership if they got into power? LIE. I mean you can’t stop being a member of something you’re not a member of can you?

Or when he said he had received official advice to not hold surgeries in his constituency. And then parliamentary sources disputed it so he went back on his claim.

He loves sniping from the sidelines but people are seriously misguided if they think he's in politics to effect any serious kind of change or help people.
