Was just going to ask how long is she missing now? Because 2-3 weeks and bodies start to re-emerge after being submerged, once they're not caught by anything.

There must be some data somewhere...I have a garmin watch and if walk for more then 10 mins it tracks my walk...i dont switch it on.

I think there was footage of her strava, so she is someone interested in fitness and tracking steps/runs. They have the phone...surely there is some last connection there from her watch?

I don’t think the ‘abounded house’ is odd because it’s clearly not abandoned. It’s just not lived in. The press have tried to make it sound worse than it is. If you’re renovating you’re at the property often for various reasons.

Also if you saw all of that activity near your house you would go to see what was going on wouldn’t you?

I’m a nervous person, being interviewed I’d probably be avoiding eye contact and behaving a bit strangely, maybe not saying the right thing. I’d hate to think what assumptions people would make of me based on what they’ve seen - she’s cold, she’s detached, etc. And that’s without being in the position of having my partner be missing for a week with no trace and having to deal with everything else that comes with that.

Or what about being in the position of having the dull weight of a blood-soaked short-handled axe between the small of your back and your trouser band since you put it there after the murder hours earlier? That would be even worse for a nervous person for sure.

Gosh that's quite a leap and imagination.

That's a very short window for that one scenario to have happened and therefore that's seems unlikely and illogical. Doesn't it now

You only have to look at the Idaho 4 story to see plenty of examples of this - It was apparently someone's boyfriend or ex boyfriend, or any male they came in to contact with that night, or the room mates or room mate's boyfriend... Turns out it was (probably - BK not guilty until trial ofc) none of the above but they've all had their names, pictures, and families dragged through the mud on social media thanks to keyboard detectives. Not ruling the partner completely out because it's a fairly common occurrence, but unless there's solid evidence beyond him smiling and swallowing too much when talking to a reporter, how anyone can say it's definitely him is beyond me.

Kendall Rae covered this and it was some random that’s unknown to them.

I'm glad you referenced this as I was going to say the same. I'm so uncomfortable with people mentioning the old abandoned house with the owner just 'happening' to be there. How does that make him a suspect because he was at his own house.

We had a house that was empty for around ten years and would go to it periodically does that make you dodgy? No.

I've just watched the interview with the husband and I'm surprised by his appearance and what he said and doesn't say to be honest. It reminds me of Kate McCann's interview when her daughter went missing. Not a 'natural' response.

I thought Maddie was recently found to have been murdered or taken by that German man? Anyway not to get into that discussion. The police obviously know a lot more than they let on so we will see. Until then no one knows for sure (and I don’t think the partner is guilty but of course if he is don’t want to have been the one defending him to the hilts)

When is enough enough in instances like this?

I genuinely believe HD CCTV footage of her slipping and falling into the river could appear and someone would say “I think it’s been edited! She was pushed but they photoshopped the killer out!”

Or she’s a paid actor which has emerged thanks to the pandemic!

Everything is uncertain without evidence. They would need evidence to treat anyone as a suspect or forensic evidence to charge someone without a body.
