Interesting
What an arrogant and ignorant woman she is.
I’d say setting the amount at £100,000 was more than a ‘simple act of kindness’.
And at the very least she should have asked Nicola’s partner/family, especially with all the rumours/speculations aimed at family members on SM. I’d be livid if I were him, she’s no doubt made things even worse for them now.

Yep really don't get the money aspect of it, it's a big case already. Doesn't need floods of donations.

Link to the live:

Yes there was nothing new, but they are probably under immense pressure due to the entire nation watching their every move. I’m not for a second suggesting the police wouldn’t be working this hard to find her if it wasn’t national news, because I think they would be, but I think their job is made 100x harder because of it.

It’s clear they are still looking methodically every single day to make sure they don’t miss anything.

I think we need a summary of the points from the live at the start of the next thread?
I said I wasn’t going to comment on this thread again but I do get frustrated at people (NOT you @InTheDollsHouse sorry just highjacking your post!) saying the Police have fucked up.

They also have families & children they go home to at night. They are human, they lay awake at night thinking it could be a member of their family. It doesn’t stop when they leave the ‘office’ Please be understanding

Its something my brain just flagged. I have a journo degree and NVQ I write well when I write novels
social media or texts I am happily sloppy as I am only focused on expressing me verbally

and its something that was instinctive about the writing.
It didnt require me thinking it just stood out
Reminding its the morning twice
Start of day and later morning
Spooky

It just made me think a lot of details there but written there picturing out alone
Setting up the scenario for a future event of so called random attack. Its spooky. I wouldve started with that word at least.

Now you say that
l remember reading a comment somewhere that on the date of post something in her life happened financialIy and they found it online publically perhaps companies house?

That could also be a little clue again

Its minor but I see an angle here.
Please please read the thread as it seems you're vague about the details. The companies house thing has been done to death it's been explained on the thread and doesn't indicate anything financial. It doesn't relate to the date of her post and she posted normal conversational things afterwards. The dog wasn't tied up. If you genuinely write for a living you should understand the importance of being both clear and accurate in what you say. Remember there's a real family involved here.

How has this case managed to get 4 threads already!? This on top of all the pillocks on twitter & TikTok etc turning up to the site she was last seen!? I think we have a real problem here in that this country is obsessed with True crime docs on the telly, so much so everyone thinks everything must be a crime!
The poor lass has clearly fallen into the river & her body will present itself at some point any day now. It doesn’t matter how she fell in, there are thousands of ways it could have happened exactly, we’ll never truly know.
You’re outraged that this case has 4 threads… yet you’re leaving comments here… pushing us 1 post closer to thread number 5….
Pointless contribution no offence.

I've realised what it is that's "off" about this to me: they haven't found her hat. She was wearing a hat, if she had fallen in, I'm sure it would have come off and be floating somewhere.

I am finding Faulding’s ongoing commentary really bizarre. I thought his job was to find people in rivers. “We have not found her in the river” is enough commentary from him.

Theyve reduced the amount from 100 to 50k. Whomever thought this a good idea was clearly thinking the donations would go through the roof … 6 hours in and not hit £500 with all the UK wide coverage?
Doesn’t sit well with me… they obviously don’t think she’s coming back if they’re asking for money at this stage?

The GFM appears to have been closed.’ No longer accepting donations’… only raised £470. Very bad idea indeed Emma White.

Bloody hell 😳🙈
Have people always been this weird!? Or is it just more obvious now we have social media 😅
This case has genuinely made me question not only the general level of education of the British public, but also their sanity tbh.
I do think social media tends to amplify the voices of those who put out the most insane theories in cases like this though.

This thread seems to have been filled up overnight with the kind of people who think 9/11 was a false flag.

Tbh if my loved one was missing, the last thing I’d be thinking about was raising money. The bills could mount up for a while because my main focus would be on finding my loved one.
With the publicity surrounding Nicola’s disappearance, there is no way the mortgage company, electric company etc would be sending the family final demands and the bailiff around.
I also find it very hard to believe that a couple with decent jobs would not have a buffer of some sort. It’s not like they’re earning the minimum wage.
Sorry but money would mean fuck all to me right now if I were in their shoes.
Surely Emma would have spoken to the family about it before setting up the GFM?

100k seems an awfully specific amount considering there's no actual costs building up for the family right now? "Any donations may be helpful during this uncertain time..." might have been more appropriate and sound less beggy.

Struggling with the TikTok brigade clearly going out of their way to visit where she went missing late at night in the desperate hope they may find her so they can become famous overnight.

The sheer volume of rubberneckers gone to what potentially is a crime scene is baffling, many under the guise of trying to help but in reality a morbid way to create content and gain views/followers.

My spelling is terrible on places like this but I want it to be because Im being verbal and expressive.
Social media posts like this dont need to be perfect because its real chatterboxes.
People with things to say
But, and I’m honestly not meaning to be horrible, your posts are totally incoherent. They’re almost impossible to follow or understand.

Ple

ase tell me what ypu think is funny about what I said?

Im interested to know because I didnt see anything outlandish.

So if its funny be constructive with your criticism.
Why coudnt what I said be possible.
A plan like that
Honestly, just the whole thing. These posts you’re making are extremely difficult to follow, full of wild theories and like many others on this thread, I can’t understand for the life of me what point you’re even trying to make. Whenever someone has asked you to elaborate on any of the things you’ve said, your response has been to insist that you’re a journalist and then follow up with another massive paragraph of ramblings.
