She looks like she’s been crying and hasn’t slept. Honestly I feel sorry for the girl. I think she feels under pressure from Matt to get back in to ‘shape’ and back to her pre baby body. Can’t be easy living with someone who is so obsessed with body building and competing and their appearance. She’s a good 10 years younger than him. Also I think it’s a disgrace her family are watching and enabling this behaviour. That wee baby must only be 2 months old. Most new mums are still finding their feet at that stage.

What about the small businesses who buy a load of chocolate from tesco and make up hampers to sell at an inflated price, are they scamming people because they didnt buy the stock from cadburys? Wise up.

Well you’ve just proved you haven’t got a clue what you’re talking about if someone buys chocolate from Tesco and keeps the cadburys wrappers on and puts them into a hamper that’s completely fine. If they take the packaging off and put their own brands packaging on, that’s a completely different story.

As much as I don’t agree with people posting peoples kids on here either she’s not exactly trying to protect her own child’s privacy herself, which as a mum is your responsibility. Her public profile is on display for the whole world to see and she’s constantly posting photos and videos of her. It’s her social media and her choice at the end of the day but I’m a mum myself and all my social media profiles are private with only my friends/family as god knows who is on screenshoting photos of your kids.

I just don’t get it with those photo shoots more ones seemed to be doing - what’s the point of them? Are they all entering body building comps and doing these after them or is it just dieting & exercising like mad for a photo shoot, then rinse & repeat? And to me loads of those shoots look heavily filtered anyway.

I don’t get it either but I think it’s a way of preying on people with body issues.

A long time ago, a friend of mine was vulnerable after a marriage breakup. Started going to the gym and a PT. Long story short, PT convinced her to prep for a “show” and a photoshoot. What I gleaned from her experience was that it was purely a money maker for the PT and their associates. My friend ended up spending a fortune (they did not have) on classes, protein and supplements to prep. Then came the photoshoot, hair dresser, MUA, photographer - all of whom associates of the PT. The “bikini” for the show was £££. The show itself was another moneymaker for the local gyms and all their MUA and hairdresser associates. The whole thing reeks of preying on the vulnerable to me. Granted, it attracts narcissists too but I believe most are more or less groomed into thinking this look is what they have to achieve - all whilst dipped in 3 layers of Ronseal

Are you serious please go and educate yourself on this because you clearly don’t have a clue about what you’re talking about. If you are buying stock directly from a supplier/factory that’s fair enough, you cannot buy stuff from a RETAILER and cut the labels off and make it your own brand, selling it for about 3x the price as the retailer you bought it off.

That’s what I’m trying to say AliExpress & Alibaba supply businesses, SHEIN is a retailer who buy their stock off these Chinese websites and private label it with their own brand name. DDCTD has been caught buying off the retailer (SHEIN) and cutting their labels off and making the products their own. If they were buying it off AliExpress or Alibaba it would be different because they are coming directly from the Chinese suppliers/factories

Aliexpress/alibaba and Shein are ultimately all the same thing. I’m not sure why you’re dying on this hill as ultimately it doesn’t make a difference.

The label is redundant as well, as Shein just purchases from the same factories that aliexpress/alibaba does, they just add in their own label. It’s possible for a supplier to ALSO be a retailer/manufacturer.

A boutique owner has a few options to get supplies - they can go to industry events where these suppliers from around the world (usually linked to the factory or who have bought from the factory) will display products and the boutique owner can place an order with them.

They might just contact them online and order direct.

OR, if they are higher end and more reputable, they’d commission designs, draft samples and mock-ups and send a final order to a factory/supplier of their choice.

OR they can simply buy in bulk from a supplier catalogue - another buisness, a wholesaler perhaps. Shein is a brand name and so it isn’t legal to sell their goods with a different label, but the products will be the same being sold on the Ali sites.

Worth noting that Shein started off as a dropshipping company itself, and sourced it’s products from a Chinese wholesale market.

So whether the influencer orders from Shein/aliexpress isn’t really the point - because who really cares here if Shein’s intellectual property is infringed upon?

The main qualm is that the “buisness owner” in question is marketing the Shein/ali stuff as something more upmarket, and pricing it accordingly. They haven’t sourced or designed the product themselves, they haven’t invested in the supply chain or been involved in it, let alone inspected it. But they pretend the product is their own and mark the price up to the nth degree and that’s what’s misleading.

This is a personal trainer, someone helping people to get in shape and lose weight? People that may feel vulnerable or insecure about their rolls (which are totally normal) or the weight they're carrying. Disgusting use of wording to use when you're in the field of fitness and diet. I would NEVER go to her for help in that department as her relationship with food/training is completely unhealthy. That baby will grow up with a poor relationship with food as well.

Yes I've seen her. She looked like she was doing good for a while but she's lost alot off weight & looking dishevelled lately. Hope she's not on a bad path again. I actually found her 1 night in town in a state & brought her home in my taxi to make sure she was safe. I tried helping her out off the back seat & clocked her head... Very hard!! .. Off the top off the car roof getting out & she hit the deck felt terrible but at least she was home safe

I’ve had a few PTs in my time and I really believe disordered eating is rampant among them, and because they are justifying it to each other it skews their perceptions on it/acts as an echo chamber.

I’ve had an ED growing up and then volunteered with women suffering from ED’s. It’s hard to describe, it goes without saying they are obsessed with food but it’s… not like how you might think.

For example, if you mention a vague reference to a food or a meal, it’s like the ears of someone with an ED prick up, they zone in on it. There’s just a different look in their face - they talk about food in a different way. They want to know details. Everything else in the conversation is dropped. The focus becomes discussing food in precise detail.

I went to a PT a little while back, and we did an assessment of my overall health - food came up in the sense of general diet and he honed it on it, in the way so many women I’d met with ED’s did.

Writing it down, it just sounds like common sense - of course a PT will need to touch upon food as it’s such a big part of health. But people with ED’s just respond to discussions about food differently, there’s this manic, obsessive element to it.
