We were always a ācheese on topā household growing up. I never knew people did it the other way around until a (loser) partner I had mid 20s was absolutely HORRIFIED I should DARE to put the cheese on top!

Actually you've made me think about it, I put cheese on the bottom for pizza, but on top for grilled sandwich thingys. Especially if it's a spaghetti mousetrap. The cheese holds the spaghetti on Hahaha.
