I remember someone saying on an old gurugossip thread that Mario comes from an extremely wealthy family. Multimillionaires! So maybe he has a huge inheritance or something and has money to burn

But she has never been someone who spoke about being environmentally friendly etc so I don't see that as an issue tbh. I also agree with whoever said about privilege, I am sick of influencers talking about it. We can all see you are privileged why just go on about it? Unless you are working to change things it is useless. What annoys me about her is starting videos with "hello my friends " then just going Mia for ages at a time. You cannot act as if your followers are friends and do this imo

She doesn’t always use the high voice. I noticed it too but it reminds me of a someone I used to play with as a kid so it doesn’t bother me lol

I always understood that Natacha has a driven side so the lululemon video tracks with her personality. She said so many times that she has medical support and everything along the way & so people shouldn’t copy and she knows it’s kind of crazy what she’s doing. I guess it’s annoying for people who watch her for fitness inspiration. I personally just want to be as active as necessary to be healthy and self sufficient - not a rep or a step extra. I’m not trying to win any trophies.

Just stumbled across her profile after following her a few years back. Always liked her and admired her fitness levels. Her face looks different to how it used to and I can’t put my finger on why, is it filler or just losing puppy fat from getting older?
She hasn’t got those huge fake lashes on anymore which I think makes a noticeable difference. Looking at her most recent pics her face is looking a bit slimmer though, particularly in the lower half.

It’s so weird because she responded to hundreds of comments on Instagram but I still got the vibe she was distant. Like her Q&A videos were often a trojan horse for bringing up a topic she wanted to talk about without saying she or Mario is the one who wants to bring it up.
That's the exact vibe! It always felt clinical. I always appreciated that she's not one to flog crap just for cash- she works HARD, maybe she did just burn out and it became one of those things where the longer she put off saying anything the harder it became.

Have we been ghosted?

I just saw her latest post, pretending she didn't realise the first one looks like a wedding photo, clearly just dot for engagement, ridiculous

This video is already 10x better than the last.

Mario: “I mean, honestly, no. We can’t. It looks like we’re wearing a uniform.”

😂
Out of all of this I’m just glad her and mario are still together 😂
I watched her new vid and really loved, I bought her Cut Reloaded guide a while ago and it made me wanna get back into that - I think she’s my comfort youtuber

Someone said they saw both her and Mario working out at the gym a few days ago. Um.. and she's too busy to take 2 minutes out of her day to post a "I'm alive, just taking a break" post or instastory when there are hundreds of her followers actually concerned for her? Natacha, you suck and your nice persona is just that - a persona.

The video was okay (I won't lie, I skipped through most of it), but I found myself feeling completely disconnected from her because she never addressed her absence. I think at least a little 5 min video before uploading this one at least saying 'hey look, I've been away and I'm sorry but let's get back to it!' etc etc.
It would be like an office worker not turning up at work for a few months and then coming back on a Monday and being like why is everyone looking at me funny.
Just my 2 cents.
Exactly! I also skipped through most of it although I used to enjoy her videos a lot. I am so disappointed in her ... Coming back like this proves that she is truly not the person I thought she was. I reckon she will not upload for a while again.

Yeah as much as I love Natacha, I do not think she has actually fully healed her relationship with weight. She “prefers” suuuuuch a low body fat percentage. I know that’s the standard in the industry she’s in and it has to be really difficult to mentally break with that, but it’s one of the only things in her platform I struggle with.
I think this is the same of a lot of fitness influencers tbh, there is another Italian one I followed and the same thing. Basically just moves one eating/food issue to another (imo) natasha went from anorexia to fitnezs Nd
insanely binging, now totally obsessed with fitness

What was the app she was involved in?
A Bollywood star dance fitness app or something? It went under I believe.

Personally, I don’t care about the Botox or plastic surgery/whatever. I don’t think it suits her but she’s free to do whatever she wants with her face. She’s not promoting skincare or something where it might creep into false advertising category.

So glad there's a rave thread about her! There are almost no influencers I will support monetarily but Natacha is one of the few, I've been waiting for her resistance bands to come back in stock forever. I love her content so much and appreciate how she tries to reply to everyone on her IG and Youtube comments. I have met her and Mario at a Gymshark event and they were both incredibly lovely people. They stayed chatting to people who waited for them long after they were meant to leave the event.

I think her Dubai trip might be something to do with her looking for a videographer in a previous YT video.

She has had periods of going offline for a month or so. Usually she comes back and says she was working on something - and she's said she has a few big things in the works. Could be back in Dubai and not want to cause a stir with people mad about travel restrictions and stuff.

What really annoys me about her qualifications, is that a quick Google search comes up with several pages claiming she has a PhD. I know she's told the story about dropping out, but there's an awful lot of reference to it.

Here's a related example;

I'm not knowledgeable about how influencing works, but this seems to be some kind of agency website. It references her being a Lulu ambassador (below where I've taken the snip) so recent info combined with the fact she's a science student at a London uni, which she obviously hasn't been for a number of years!

My degrees are very close to the ones she completed (and didn't!). She's definitely stretching to relate it to fitness. Yes, I studied basic physiology and anatomy - and I sometimes read papers on this stuff and get the message. BUT my big beef with her, is that there are people out there doing academic research into proper exercise physiology who are the experts. Why is she speaking for them? Why is she the face of exercise/dietary science? 💰

Totally agree with others about the back injury being a big turning point, I thought she was OK upto then and it seems something has changed with her content style or her attitude since.

I can only agree with everyone who's been saying it's not that hard to post an "I'm alive, taking an indefinite break" message, even as a euphemism for "I'm quitting", just to buy her time and address it later on, when she's got more time and energy to devote to it. Otherwise, it's highly, highly disrespectful of her.
It's not like people are demanding she explains in details everything that's going on. We all know her private life is none of our business, so if she's struggling with personal problems (say an illness of a loved one), we don't want her to tell us. We also all know that her business dealings outside of her channel are probably well guarded, and that, even if she wanted to, she wouldn't be able to say anything about them. That's totally fine. But you don't just ghost thousands of people (she has over a million followers on YT), people who care about you to some extent, because that's the type of brand and relationship you've built, who were the foundation for the opportunities you got, and yes, helped you make a ton of money too, taking the time to comment and interact with your content, which boosts the "algorithms", maybe watching the ads. Many people, including myself, bought her guides. I know I did it in part because I like her workout style and attitude to fitness, and in part because I trusted her (thanks to the brand/image she's built) and wanted to support her, so she could keep spreading her healthier attitude.

Her completely disappearing off her own channel and social media accounts, but being present elsewhere (a bit on the Power app thing, from what I've seen), is such a slap in the face. Actually, it would be, even if she wasn't present elsewhere.

Her followers did not necessarily directly give her money (although many bought bands and guides), but youtube and social media are just a different type of business transactions. It still is business though, and you owe respect to those who've helped you get to where you are. Of course she works hard and is intelligent, but I dare say that if she hadn't had her successful social media career, she wouldn't have been able to work on the power app, or do any of the things we've seen her do. I mean, she quit her studies knowing she was starting Youtube, didn't she? And as someone pointed out, she got to it at a time when youtube stars and careers already existed, for years, so she knew what the potential was.

Also I kind of feel ultra/any kind of distance running doesn't really fit with Lululemon overall. They are a fashion sports brand, who do some things really well. But they're not really a running brand, particularly for shoes. And I've not seen anything else where they're particularly been trying to break in to the ultra world (and I doubt most serious runners would take them seriously... maybe the insta runners) so I just wonder what they want to achieve with this.
