The name Olivia always irritates me, just because it's so overused to the point it's just kind of boring? 🙈 I'm at the age where people I know are starting to have kids and most of the ones I've seen have opted for the same three girls names: it's either Olivia, Poppy or Isla and I'm just not about it. The boys seem have gotten a bit more variation but most boys names just seem kind of 'meh' to me tbh (none really wow me like girls' names) 🙈

It's the same reason I could never name my kid Emma. I've got about 8 different friends called Emma and even though they've all been lovely, there's just too many of them 😂 I'd want my kid to have a name that their friends/classmates/colleagues can use in conversation without needing their surname or other descriptors every time 😂

I really like David.
I find Frank so weird on kids. Frank is an old man 😂

Oh and another one - Jimmy. Not even calling then James with Jimmy as a nickname. Jimmy on the birth certificate 🤦‍♀️

I like the names Emma and Emily but I know about 50 of them. Such an overused name!!

I hate anything ending in ‘Leigh’ but like the name with the ‘ey’ ending like Ashley, I like that but hate ashleigh

My husband has a marmite name that people either love or hate - it's a surname but not a common one. I absolutely love it but I hate 'junior' names so I'd never call my son after him. Sometimes I wish I'd never met my husband and thought of his name myself 🤣

I do know what you mean but to be fair, the 'old man' names had to be babies once!

I have quite a popular 90s name that isn't used much now and as much as I like my name, I dread knowing that it's going to be considered an old woman name in the next 40-odd years 😂

I am another one that hates anything hyphenated, anything pretentious or trying to be unique with a weird spelling and overly common names. Overly used middles names also annoy me - Rose/Elizabeth/Louise.
