Kenzie
Jayden
Aiden
Kayden (bit of a pattern there!)
Riley
Charlie
Logan
Liam
Isla
Ava
Freya
Lexie
Olivia
Double barrelled names like Lily-Mae or whatever.

I don’t like overly popular names and a lot are very “chavvy.” My children have names that aren’t totally unusual but not common either. Not hating on anyone who’s children have these names, they’re just not my cup of tea. Life would be boring if we all had same taste.
Why are hyphenated names always with the same names - May, Grace, Rose etc?

I love this thread! 😂😂

Maybe we should start a thread with names that are posh but not posh? I never know what names are posh lol! 😂
Ha ha, posh names are difficult cos there’s a fine line between posh and pretentious, and some are really trying too hard! Rafferty is a example of this for me, I know someone who’s just called their kid this, they really fancy themselves as upper middle class lol

Anyone feel brave enough to share their kids first names? 😂

StJohn - now that is a posh name!

Just to clarify that is not my child's name!

The only ones I like are Florence and Emilia. But I can't say Florence properly and probably wouldn't use Emilia, too similar to Amelia.

I really don't understand why Aria is so popular.

A woman I went on a course with told me she taught twins called Dolce and Gabbana.

I’m not going to post a list of names I don’t like cause people choose what they like and it’s whatever but choosing names like that is an active choice and it is bizarre.

I worked at mothercare and i was filling out a form and the woman had named her 2 daughters Beyonce and Talisa. It took everything in me not to laugh infront of her.

My daughter is Daisy-Mae and I can assure you we are very far from being chavvy. Maybe we have just managed to break the mould I don’t know 🤷🏼‍♀️😂

We called my son Jonah and my father has taken it upon himself to make as many embarrassing rhymes as possible for when he’s older. He’s three and now runs around the garden shouting “I’m Jonah the Boner!”. Not something I thought I would have to explain to my neighbours who were very amused yesterday 🤦🏼‍♀️
Jonah Boner
Jonah the Moaner
Jonah the stoner
Jonah’s a moaner
Jonah Corona 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️
I was gonna call my little one Jonah had she been a boy! 👍🏻

My niece is called aria, when she was named it it was really unheard of, then game of thrones and pretty little liars came about now my sister regrets naming her it!!

Same as most of you, hate made up names, names ending in -Mai/Mae/May, Kaiden and it’s many spellings, Taylor, Riley, Alfie etc etc 💤

I often think of what I’d name my future children and I’d want something uncommon but not crazy. I love Ezra for a boy but I think it’s a bit out there for where I’m from! Big George Ezra fan hahah

I know someone with a dog and baby called Ronnie and Reggie, not sure which way round they are 😩

My partner works with a guy who have just had a baby and called her Amy... I don’t have anything against the name but I just feel it belongs in the years of names like Lisa, Michelle and Tracy.
