I had to register on this forum just for this. That video is the least genuine apology I've seen in my entire life. All the focus was on his foot fetish as if anyone cares about that. It's not like anyone actually expected he would come clean about everything, but still. I hope people from that community start coming out with their own statements. Also, I expected more from Amber...if you're not going to say anything, don't try to defend him either by playing dumb.
What makes it even worse is that he went after Lucie and Danny for being racist (rightfully so) knowing damn well he had used slurs himself in the past.

Yes when you have quite a big audience and you’re sponsored by a mental health service which is to support black and brown people then it does look strange to be simultaneously doing things that actually are harmful to that community.
In fact, it seems as though he was trying to justify because he needs the money. But, like I said, he seems to have a decent day job. So it’s all very odd.

And this is the thing. Even if that person was fully consenting and paying me to use racial slurs towards them I still couldn't do it. I just couldn't use those words. Even the more mild fetish of being insulted/degraded where you aren't using slurs, I just still couldn't do it, I would feel so uncomfortable with it. To agree to it, says a lot.
I thought this too. You can’t put yourself in the public eye and not expect people to dig up old information. It happens every year with new Love Island contestants before they even make it into the villa. Once something is on the internet it’s there forever, regardless of whether you delete it or not.

I agree, the people shaming him for doing sex work are fuckinf up the message that he used racial slurs, wrote them out too. All th3 videos show two consenting adults engaging in sexual acts that are against the normal yes, but he shouldn't be "kinked shamed" especially as its derived from trauma, but the racial slurs, make it unacceptable, especially when your platform you have built is about calling out such things, with a bias and accusatory manner too.

As someone who has supported Murad for years I'm truly disappointed and disgusted by him smh
First and foremost, if it this was just a foot fetish no one would be raging rn trying to cancel him, like people have kinks and it's normal, it's the blatant racism and the sex-slave work that makes this whole thing disgusting

I don't think people should bully him, create memes and make fun of him, he's truly vulnerable and his mental health isn't strong. God forbid he tries to do something to himself because of this. The ending of his "apology" video where he said he hopes God takes him broke my heart, I couldn't tell if it was an act or not but asking for death is terrifying, I'm sure he'll come out from this but he just needs to acknowledge his wrongdoings.

Yeeesh what a wreck. Fwiw I used to do some similar work feet wise (no racism obvs) a lonnng time ago so i do understand how good the money is and how easy it can be to have your personal bohndaries pushed. But you don't have to accept jobs that don't sit right, you decide your price and what you are willing to do.
