Tbf there's some very end is nigh talk on the tattle corona virus thread too. You get piled on for having any opinion that isn't that we should have martial law and anyone found doing too much outdoor exercise will be shot on sight.

I’m a regular on the covid thread and that’s not true at all. Maybe SOME people feel that way but certainly not all. In fact just recently people were encouraging a poster to take as many walks as they need per day during this lockdown if it helps their mental health. It’s nowhere near as bad as mumsnet and about 10000x funnier.

This is going back many years, I think it was either 07 or 08 during the Christmas period there was a romance thread about a single mum kissing her Dr colleague at the Christmas party she was so embarrassed but slowly admits she fancies him. It was a long thread about them eventually falling in love. It was really sweet or so I thought years later i found out it was all a hoax it was a writer testing out the plot for a book!

My favorite MN christmas moment has to be the mouldies being discovered, threads and threads of full on hysteria.

I very much doubt that, the mods here are very hot on users posting personal addresses of influencers. If it was posted I don’t think it would have stayed up long.

Absolutely - I'm always a bit unsettled by how much detail posters go into about how they wash their minge! OP probably is a troll I agree but even if not I'm sure there will someone getting their kicks from it.

I’ve just posted on the one where a members mother comes round for lunch and most of the time , including today , proceeds to get lunch there and deliberately rubs it into the carpet with her feet and laughing , today’s offering for the carpet was pork pie ... the thread was pulled but it was called ‘shall I make her pay for carpet cleaner ‘ .. she’s been doing this regularly apparently she’s 63 ... fucking hell , never mind carpet cleaner this is been going on for donkeys ... she needs mental health assessment and the daughter was more concerned about wether to charge for carpet cleaner ! Oh and proceeded to state it was autistic traits . Jesus fucking wept

I think , for what it’s worth , some of the more angry posters were bored and were the very essence of a keyboard warrior getting angry. There’s also an ingrained know it all attitude at Mumsnet.

Xenia had been publically identified so so many times over the years but that doesn't scare her off.

I think Xenia is largely telling the truth about her life and career so she doesn’t care, with some exaggeration about her kids and her parenting. She’s a piece of work but I can’t see her being any different in real life somehow! LaQueen on the other hand not so much

The only time I ever read anything from Mumsnet is when it's posted by Mumsnet Madness on Twitter. Hilarious snippets of some of the crazy posts. I hope however runs that page pays the sub so I don't miss out

I used to love Mumsnet Madness but I unfollowed. I hated all the comments. So many of them were along the lines of women being crazy, mothers being boring and stupid. Was a shame as it ruined something really hilarious.

There was a post mentioning when mask requirements and someone was moaning that people were looking forward to stopping wearing them. The poster was saying they were going to keep wearing there’s past requirements and others were idiots or similar for not. It’s ok to be looking forward to getting rid of them. Yeah I enjoyed her efforts. I remember the hotel bedroom thread with fondness. I imagine she has had many incarnations over the years, and mumsnet have just given up trying to rid the place of her, at least as this account shes fairly harmless, albeit not completely benign.

I reckon she's staff. Anyone else would be banned for much less. Same with several others who post all day long every day and are fucking vile with it. At least Crumbs gives a good chuckle though
