A few people in the Secret Celeb Gossip thread here were raving about MN's Salt path threads! apparently some of the Mumsnetters have done loads of research? But I really can't be bothered reading 7 threads...

Oh but Durham is northern and some folk (who were rejected from Oxbridge) say it’s Doxbridge.

Anyone think this is a troll? It's already hit nearly 500 posts and it looks like it could run and run

She came back, so maybe not a troll? Certainly got people angry though! Apparently the priest didn't know the baby had already been baptised in the CoE, and he's going to be telling MIL her plans won't be going ahead. (edit, he also didn't know the parents hadn't been involved in planning it!)

We had a Mormons In The Street earworm a few posts back and I've now got "Was it the chicken or the wine?" to the tune of The Rhythm of the Night.
Dammit - that’s triggered me now. Thank you …

Maybe but the will update if MIL kicks off screams troll to me. I bet Father Liam looks like Richard Chamberlain from the Thornbirds

I've got a cousin Gregor - he's maybe 20 now, and don't think anyone has ever considered Greg as an outstandingly bad name choice.
I know three Gregors under 20!
Gregor is good; Greg not so much.

i was going to be Duncan if I’d been a boy and I think that’s worse

We'd have been shot at dawn if we hadn't made a big effort for both DD's graduations. Mind you, one was Greenwich and the other Bournemouth, so maybe being darn Sarf makes all the difference?

Has anyone seen the thread in pregnancy about the woman who's paralysed, but not. It's a strange strange story.
I may eat my words but I think it’s genuine and I think the poster may have additional needs and / or be vulnerable in other ways.

I'm going to a graduation this year. I've just bought a dress to go to a wedding in a couple of weeks, and I'll probably wear the same dress to the graduation.

Unfortunately I didn't ask mumsnet for style advice so I haven't got a sisterwife sack dress. Although as I'm potato shaped maybe I should have gone for one.

I didn’t go to my own graduation - they’d all have been going NC with me for that.

Everyone at my graduation was dressed like they were going to a Tory party conference - parents and kids.
