I honestly think that wins some kind of award. Within five posts we’ve had feigned surprise at fat children, a poster saying there are no fat children in their child’s class, a poster talking about their athletic teen and a disparaging reference to Northerners. It’s good, but I think we’ve peaked too soon.

Is it socially acceptable for an adult to have a ‘lazy day’
For context I am a single with parental responsibility 70% of the time, plus I work full time. Due to the summer holidays my DC are with their dad more this weekend. I have completed house hold task this morning and now I am sitting in front of the telly. However I feel guilty in doing so.
I would like to go and do something but I’m short on funds.
House is clean
House and garden all tidy apart from DC bedroom which they refused to tidy.
YABU- get off your bum and do something
YANBU- it’s okay to have a lazy day every now and again

Personally I have between 6 and 7 a week, so I would say "Go for it!"

That's not behind - that's seriously failing at school.
If she's going into Y11 in September then I doubt she'd be able to make up to pass marks even with a decent parent who can assist her in studying and getting her shit together.

Just scraping by in life on benefits is no life for anyone. She has put six kids through this shit life, and only 1 of them seems to have managed to get himself out of the hole to try and forge a decent life for himself.
