Did we ever find out what was going on with the husband who said he was Portugal but the tracking app said he was in Spain?

The OP has had their account suspended while MN look into things. It was clearly utter rit from the very first post, but fair play to them, it was a better attempt than most trolls these days.

This was on a TAAT that someone started:

Hello everyone - we're afraid we have a couple of concerns about the OP and have suspended their account while we wait to hear back from them. Please don't start any further threads about it in the mean time.

I am devastated by this news. I wanted to know what happened. Hubby was due back today and now we will never know why he was in Spain 😭. Even if it is a troll, please let them at least provide a conclusion.

This is MN through and through. Always quick to delete threads for no apparent reason but troll threads inexplicably stay up, and the TAATs (at least two or three) have been left up with a message saying they’re looking behind the scenes.. all for the clicks and hits. I get why they do it but there’s a lot of gullible people taken in by it.

Cringing at the old timer thread in chat, they are all in touch off site anyway, someone obviously needed an ego boost today.

There’s a competitive under eating thread at the mo about a 150 calorie M&S salad

I laughed at the poster saying they’d be STUFFED after eating one. Smile wiped off my face when I saw the posts about only eating once or twice a day, and “eating during the day is not high on my radar”.

Oh mate, you'd best stay the duck away from the Intermittent Fasting section. Competing in terms of bleeping weeks of only having water, how allowing themselves some Chicken Oxo is a failure and purely by the way mentions of how husbands, parents and friends are saying it's gone too far. All allowed to stand.

It's called eating duck all. Otherwise known as Anorexia Nervosa.

Then we have this thread

She's not eaten for a day and a half and therefore isn't going to the toilet. Because there's nothing in there, perhaps?

Suggestions; Take laxatives. A dose of salts. Psyllium Husk. Chia Seeds.

There's this on another thread

.

No, it bleeping isn't. A Huel is 400 kcal and a cup a soup is 40-about 120kcal. Back to the ABC diet, I see.

Another thread

There's a word for that behaviour.

But WHY? You aren't bleeping Jesus in the Wilderness, you're a 30-40 something Mum wearing Hush or a yellow Seasalt plastic mac, living somewhere like Staines.

If I were the next of kin of one of those women and they ended up autophaging the duck out of their heart muscle (which is NOT a bleeping cure for cancer, by the way), I'd be directing my lawyers straight to Mumsnet for allowing this tit to go on.

I’ve complained to MN about the fasting threads in the past but they’re really not interested.

Those threads are very, very dangerous and should not be allowed on the site. They’re pure pro-Ana.

Fasting threads and low carb threads are bloody dangerous. Dare anyone suggest that actually you can lose weight whilst eating carbs and The Queen Of Low Carbs bites their head off 🙄

She really pushes meat too and misrepresents vegetarian/vegan options. Funny how these people get promoted as absolute experts on mumsnet.

To be fair I couldn’t put the hours in.

Is this that BIWI or whatever her username is?! She runs the low carb “boot camps”, MN seem to give her free reign to recruit loads of people to jump her unqualified and made up bandwagon??

Yes because she has been there for years and gone to meet ups. She is a bit odd IMO.

So many of them are really quite unpleasant, and seem to have serious ishoos. What I like about here is the ability to agree to disagree and still be (reasonably) civil, and not hold grudges.
