Can't mumsnet see if different accounts are the same person by ip address or other means? Why let this nonsense carry on?

I think she has some sock puppetry going on. When she tried posting, having changed her circumstances, one young child and so on, she was also at death's door but posting merrily from her almost death bed in the hospital. As you do...
Who could really be arsed making multiple accounts and basically talking to themselves, they must have such empty lives!

They let loads of blatant trolls carry on for aeons - they need the page clicks to convince advertisers that they’re attracting droves of potential customers. That’s why the multi-thread CF sagas are allowed to go on forever even despite the ludicrous plot-holes and silly escalations - it’s good for business.

Kiwi Farms is a bit like the inverse of here IMO - most of it is just people being nasty, but a couple of threads have their own little micro-communities with some interesting discussion. I found them because there's a relatively well-known youtuber I really can't stand who has a load of adoring fans, and it seemed to be the only place on the internet where there were other people who had the same objections. The thread got pretty long and often digressed into stuff like women's rights and how much all the posters love Phoebe Waller-Bridge, it was fun (if also OTT offensive, because that's just their forum culture).

I've been on MN since about 2010 and would say I spend quite a bit of time on there, but somehow a lot of the drama seems to pass me by and from time to time it feels like I'm a parallel universe - I've never even heard of Seafour and have no idea what you're all on about I don't know who the entertaining troll with the ridiculously unbelievable life stories is either, or that Cod (c0d?) troll who everyone on there is always accusing people of being.

There will be lots of running themes at times as well. I remember once fairly recently for example, there was loads of threads at the same time about moving to Lincolnshire. I’ve never encountered that anywhere else.

Cod still posts but she mostly stays on Twitter. Her desperate need for adulation grates on me but then I never found her funny. I have never know someone big up their magistrate role so much either and I think she treads a fine line between showing off and being unprofessional.

When I read the title of the cake thread I thought “Oh here we go, one of those tacky cakes of a penis or boobs….. wait, WHAT?”

BIB I'm on it about ten years but lots of stuff passes me by too.

Seafour kept me entertained at one time. And I presume the unbelievable life stories one is the one who once posted a picture of a hotel room, pretending it was her own bedroom and didn't concede otherwise, even when someone posted the pic directly from the hotel website.

Cod passed me by though I have often seen her mentioned.

There's a thread at the moment where the OP is taking about her 15 year old son who is taking class A drugs. I haven't read the full thread but certainly the first page was full of posters saying "it's fine, tell him to only take ¼ then he can have more if he needs it" "me and my friends all did drugs at that age and now we're high earning professionals“" E is the safest drug he can take" etc.

Are these the same people who go apeshit about their kids having sugar and fizzy drinks? I feel like I've walked into a parallel universe!

Sugar will make them fat, weed use will make them chavs, class As mean they’re rich and thin, mumsnetters will be over the moon if their kids take them.

Talking of class As has anyone seen the thread about the woman with a new baby/paramedic neighbour? According to some posters her behaviour is normal for a new mum…

Guys, everyone needs to read this ASAP. This is the craziest one I’ve read for a while.

Although I do feel a bit sorry for the OP as she can’t be well.
