Did anyone read the thread where the husband had been giving the easter eggs intended for a egg hunt to his daughter over the past week? Apparently the wife told him her plans. But he didn't want the toddler eating all the eggs in one go.

Wow some of the replies. One poster said he was gaslighting her 🤣

I think he had probably just eaten all the eggs, but she went so over the top about it and as you say the responses were extreme

I don’t think he was gaslighting her, I think he was just a head, but that isn’t trendy enough. Everyone has to be a gaslighter or a narcissist or have ASD or early onset dementia.

Yep everyone that does something to slightly annoy you isn’t just a fool, they are a narcissist or gaslighting it’s bizarre.

Overheard the staff at my local Co-Op saying their eggs would be discounted from Monday onwards. Although I wonder does the government even let them do it now or is that "promoting obesity"?

They also have brain tumours too if they say something horrible.

Ironic considering the amount of nastiness that spills out of their minds and onto replies to peoples posts

Were any of them in the sale?
I looked on Hotel Choc and they were 30 quid each...
I went in there a couple of weeks ago looking for an egg for my husband, have never before actually said out loud in a shop “how much?!?” until I saw the price of these eggs! There were stacks and stacks of them, I think they have really misread the public purse strings at the moment so I’m very sure there will be lots on sale there this week!

I'm sorry to say I went to 5 different shops and ended up buying the eggs full price, but I did get all of my absolute favourite chocs!

I read somewhere (maybe on here?) that some supermarkets don't reduce the eggs til after the Orthodox Easter now, which is the week after ours. Don't know if it's true though!

Anyone read the "we live on a farm next to an air bnb and their 5 year old has invaded our house at 8am and let our chickens out" thread? it reads to me like an exercise in creative writing (and not a very good one) - it's in AIBU if you cba, but its very long...

Has anyone seen the thread where mumsnet was compared to Al-Qaeda on twitter?! 🤣

Love the idea that supermarkets may have any kind of religious morals but sadly, I think it’s definitely not true 🤣

Went to Lidl this evening and they had all their Easter stuff half price or less. I got a half price Galaxy egg, they had loads of different ones. I also got half price bags of their own mini eggs and tricolour Easter themed pasta shapes.

Well I think it was so the Orthodox Christians would have to pay full price for their Easter eggs, not because Tesco follows the Julian calendar 🤣 But yes, seems like it's not true according to most people here!

My local sainsburys had loads of Easter eggs reduced. I was tempted to get one but I already have a few🤭. The cashier told us that 8:20 this morning it was packed with people getting Easter eggs!
