I am very much active in the prevention of VAWG and I’m not a fan of victim-blaming. But my post from this morning still stands - go poking around the underbelly of the internet and the brain rot which is tiktok - and guess what? You win yourself a $5 fuckwit. And then… even after your reported him, you went back to engage some more.

Gonnae do yer awn tiktok video about your trauma complete with “shocked” face thumbnail?

OK I'll hold my hands up - I know I'm going on a fast ride to hell, but what fresh hell is THIS??

I rather like the blouse. I wouldn't pair it with that skirt because the patterns fight against each other. I'd go for something plain black. Close fitting trousers or a pencil skirt, paired with black patent heels (for office wear) or a chunky boot with jeans for casual.

I don't entirely believe all the people pretending not to recognise donner meat! I had a lovely kebab last night and could eat it again for lunch, but alas I am not a mumsnetter who could make it last all week and ate the lot at the time 😪
Had a box of doner meat and chopped salad from the takeaway on Friday with chippy chips. Leftovers for lunch on Saturday. Bliss!

Can I lighten the mood by very much enjoying various MN'ers getting their knickers in a twist regarding school dinners.

OP wants to send darling first born boy child in to reception with last night's leftovers (with a salad of course) which he will just have to "get used" to eating cold. Poor lad having to poke through last night's cold quinoa while his pals get something nice!

Suggestions that OP asks school to not provide PFB with pudding are baffling, back in my day our lovely elderly dinnerladies would never be remembering and pandering to specific needs. Custard was slopped, every day! If my mother had intervened and suggested I, as her PFB, was NOT allowed fudge tart and chocolate custard I would have called childline. Can't believe the late 90s was such a different time!
I loved school dinners, especially the desserts - bread and butter pudding and custard, stewed apples and raisins and evaporated milk, semolina with a blob of strawberry jam in that you stirred in to turn it pink, rice pudding with skin on it, chocolate sponge with pink custard. No wonder I am a sturdy lass.

I'll tell you what I fucking love. Those stinky, disgusting onion ring crisps, the ones from Bobby's that you get only in the cheapest, nastiest little corner newsagent places. You get them in normal packs and big packs and I could inhale a big one easily with room for more. I know they're disgusting, I know they're horrible, I know they'd probably corrode the packet if you don't eat them fast enough but I bloody love the things.
OMG yes me too!

Tacos now not appealing to me for later… should I get a parmo instead?

That horrible thread in AIBU right now. I can’t believe people are saying she shouldn’t report it to the police as it “might make the living situation worse”. These are people who will call the police over an unknown car being parked outside their property overnight. If he’s the kind to make her living situation worse then that’s even more reason to report to the police.

I will see you on Boxing Day!
I’ve never done the Boxing Day dip here. People are in fancy dress for some reason. It’s brilliant to watch but I’ve never been tempted to run into a grey choppy cold sea 🌊 I wonder if Mumsnetters think traditions like this are middle class or chavvy?

Soon as I saw the word parmo I knew it was a northern person. Was a huge thing in Hartlepool and we still make them now we’ve moved away from there.
I have friends in Hartlepool, well Seaton Canoe to be precise, and I fucking love a parmo. They don't exist in my corner of Wales. I am planning another visit to the north east asap.

The headache I had from a night on southern comfort when I was about 17 was indescribable. Never touched the stuff since.
Don’t really bother much now, I enjoy watching my friends make tits of themselves. I do like a flavoured gin and lemonade from time to time but as I’m incredibly allergic to aspartame and 90% of lemonades out there seem to have it, it’s an occasional treat. Fortunately the establishment I frequent is owned by a friend who keeps a bottle of Waitrose lemonade tucked away for me behind the bar bless him.

I'm in Manchester this weekend, my go-to was always pudding and chips in a tray with gravy, I might have to head back down memory lane.

Fuck. I’m proficient in all those posh outing hobbies, but I live in a council house. How do I go about getting my life-upgrade/billionaire?
Are you a member of The (Fingers For) Pudding Club, though? I think it's from there the billionaires/aristos secure their anorexic brood mares. Don't quote me though!

There's a thread at the moment about a neighbour letting out a property abroad without the owner knowing.
I'm sure I read the same post a year or two ago🤨
