Why are there so many (presumably) troll threads about stamp collections? I've seen three just in a few days and more than that recentlt, where someone has died and another family member has taken their stamp collection or a stamp collection has been stolen or destroyed or lost. Surely they're fake because I can't believe so many people steal stamp collections that it's at least 1.5 people doing it per day, but why would anyone make that up once never mind repeatedly. Is it a code? 👀

There is a post in AIBU from a woman who has hand washed a jumper per the care instructions and the colours have run. Seems like she is after some advice and on the surface seems fairly normal.

Until someone suggested she return it for a refund and she replies...

I'm sorry a 34 year old jumper is not bleeding colours unless it has never been washed before.

Well I personally think the advice to 'download a suduko from the internet' with a cup of tea is the best advice I've ever heard about how to calm down and cope with being violently abused by a drunken husband. Excellent. Thread is 'To have rang police'

Someone has suggested that a few good ways of dealing deal with the increase of dog attacks would be -

being able to carry a gun
being able to carry a knife
being trained in how to kill dogs with said gun/knife

Yeah that's going to end really well, can't see any problem at all with that being allowed

Today in S&B. I guess she's sick of her fresh clean perfumes making her smell like a freshly mopped Premier Inn lobby. 😔

Why do they hate dogs over there? The current panic over dog attacks reminds me of the early days of Covid when they were convinced bodies were going to be piled up in the streets and civilisation would end. If it’s not dog attacks it’s ‘selfish dog walkers’ or something else. There is no such thing as a bad dog breed, just bad owners. The current ‘bully’ breed is popular with a certain section of society that cant be arsed training them properly or putting the work in to correctly socialise them. But anyway lets just ban all dogs shall we?🙄

One of my sisters has an American bully and she’s a sweetheart. Very very obedient, good natured and well behaved. A crazed mumsnetter would probably shoot her on sight.

Government trained in fighting dogs no less

The guns bit is crazy. But to consider the government training the people in how to fight dogs, when they can’t uphold any of the basics of the social contract is bizarre even for mn
