Mummysflippinhouse #2 such a hairdo we’ve never seen,it really is quite obscene. Caroline continues to whine.

Fucking DAVID LLOYDS!!!! I looked at their membership!! For a family of 4 it’s was nearly £600 a month if I wanted to be able to use all the facilities and childcare option!!!

I used to like her as she came across “real” but fucking hell. That’s beyond ridiculous.
does she even work out in the US???

Jesus wept, you are rich! Thats madness. I'm a single income family with 1 kid on £22k a year. £100k is a phenomenal amount of money to be earning!

oh no doubt. Honestly hats off to you because I couldn’t my adhd brain just about manages my nurse roles. And I couldn’t give up my holidays to work.
But yes 1000% the other parent picks up the slack (usually ) so yer she should be doing the child care and running around not expecting him to do it!!
she’s in for a shock for sure.

We’re members at David Lloyd and our crèche is £7 an hour. So even if she pays the huge family membership fee and manages to get Sophie booked into one of the kids classes (oh yes you have to be ready and waiting to book that class 9 days in advance) she’s going to also be paying £14 an hour for Charlie and Olivia to be in the crèche. She has her priorities soooo wrong with this move.

I'm seriously considering starting an Instagram or Tiktocky thing because the fact that Caroline's big smug face can make her six figures a year is so wild that I have to wonder what on earth I'm doing sitting at a desk all day (from home and usually in my PJs, but still!) pretending to care about my very dull job. I have plenty of childhood trauma I could be making money off...maybe one day I might even get my own Tattle thread!

So she’s going to have all 3 kids all summer and not have any help? Living at her mums? This is going to end well

That’s probably why the gym membership. Honestly that’s still cheap child care. I know plenty here who do similar. Even just putting the kids in the daycare and then like hanging out in the lounge area or whatever to give themself a little break/catchup time. Not the best plan, but I guess it’s something

..why doesn’t the dog already have a bed?
Maybe just not shipping the old one. Can’t send her in the crate with a proper one and cost of shipping likely too much. When I moved cross country even there was some stuff just not worth moving and purchased instead.

She is utterly vile!!! And Kyle is an absolute idiot for going along with it! The rings… let’s face it, did not come out of his generous, loving, pocket. I’d be embarrassed if I didn’t think to gift something off my own back, until it was proposed as a freebie !
And her Monday ‘to do list’ is gross!!!! I truly hope reality smacks her very hard on her spotty face by Tuesday!!! Not a fan!!!!

I moved to Boston from Scotland a few months before Caroline did and really liked/related to her content at the time but I cannot stand her now, especially how much she slags Boston. There is a massive British/Irish community here, super welcoming, and tons of shops to get whatever you want. I actually reached out to her when she first moved and shared a local FB group with thousands of Brits in it so she could find other mums with young kids or people who were homesick. Obviously, there will always be things I prefer and miss about the UK but overall, my life is better here. My husband makes over 3x more working the same job he did in Scotland (same title+industry, different company). He doesn't have a specialist degree or any advanced qualifications. Also the stupid soft play stuff, there are loads of places that are similar, they just aren't called soft plays.

This has made me feel better about my NHS job. I'm always wondering if I should bail out and get a job in the private sector. But I do love I get a lot of annual leave and when I'm not working, I'm left alone. Work is left at work.

Has she ever said why they’re moving now, as in specifically May and not at the end of Sophie’s school year. It just doesn’t make sense the sudden urgency of the move which she’s barely even prepared for.

I'm still confused on the Sophie bit - originally she was staying with Kyle to finish the school year and then all of a sudden she said she was taking all 3 kids with her not just the 2.
