The parasol is off-center inside the cement box and it would annoy the absolute life out of me. Why not just buy a suitable outdoor dining set? The one she has isn't nice anyway. She wrecks my brain.
Genuine question but how do we know she doesn’t have a mortgage? Some people have cash in the bank but still choose to have a mortgage as it’s a cheap way of borrowing.
She does manage to ‘solve’ issues that don’t exist. I have a large cantilever parasol on a wheeled base. You wheel it round and angle it to cover the whole table. Not a tiny parasol in a plant pot on wheels.

As for the umbrella in a pot. I’m dead. What a tit idea.
It is so bizarre to try so hard to appear rustic when in truth, you are absolutely artificial from your face to your emotions to your relationships.. the list could go on.
She’ll prob leave the Jesus table out until the end of her promotion agreement and next year she’ll have some decent stuff out.

Also I’ve got to add - i know it’s surprisingly hot this week but who needs to set up a whole system for a parasol now?! From next week we’re all going to cover the garden furniture and pack it away for next summer! Why is she such a delayed head?

I would say she does have a mortgage, it wouldn't make much sense to cash buy a 1-2million quid house outright at the start of your career. Also think you're seriously over estimating her actual solid funds in the bank at the time. I doubt she had that sitting in solid cash in 2020/21, maybe close to, but not enough to drain it to 0 when interest rates for mortgages were so low at the time, why wouldn't you take a mortgage when they were at an all time low, as another poster said, cheap way to borrow money and money was cheap at the time. It wouldn't have made sense to cash buy it. I'd say she maybe done a 60% LTV at most. Interest rates are now a totally different story if she didn't fix for 10 years she might feel the pinch.

If you know the road she lives on and can identify the plot you can run a search at the land registry and it will tell you if it’s mortgaged. It’s public information.
Yes to that (the confidence) I always used to wear a full face of make up, even when the weather was this hot, I wouldn’t let anyone see me without it on. I hid behind it because my skin was awful and I was very insecure about how I looked. Even during Covid and being furloughed from work, I still put on a full face to homeschool my then 11 year old
and that’s when I had my why moment. I’m nearly 40, have a proper skin care routine morning and night and my daily make up consists of mascara, that’s it!! Altho I did also overpluck my brows many years ago and I do have them done with SPMU every year but they DO NOT look shiny or sharpified like Sloths Even if I go for a night out it’s mascara and a bit of blusher and highlighter. I’m now confident in my own skin and couldn’t really give a rats a what others think of me the make up she did the other day was just plain awful and I have no idea why she thinks that’s how people do their make up now, also I’m pretty sure contouring came into fashion and went out again pretty quickly!! Xx
