I’ve got an induction hob - mine is built into an island and we were told by our fitters that it’s not advisable due to fire regs and heat damage to put lights directly over a hob.
We put ours over the eating area.

Would have thought she could have got away with recessed lighting above, much more minimal and unobtrusive than those Bet Lynch chandelier specials

Theory here but do you think she’s just done the crappy hole in the wall because it’s easier for her army to replicate, therefore more ‘relatable’ where as if she has done the full shibang it could have lead to them possibly going against her???
Also she really didn’t need a new kitchen for that serving hatch it was just an excuse for a new kitchen eventhough it is tit you don’t need a big kitchen when your expertise is cooking with Pyrex 🤣

It such a stupid idea with the hatch 🤦🏻‍♀️ Just make the whole room open plan rather than a dated hatch! All this woman does is for attention and for her stupid ideas to be validated by her sheep who think all her ideas are amazing 😂

All that money and it’s crap. Why the serving hatch ? Surely you would of knocked the whole wall down and have a lovely big island. Block the original kitchen door off. Sorry if it’s been said before. Just a waste of money cos of bad planning and tit ideas
