Not saying she's a bad looking girl but....hard pass. Too many of these celeb/model spawns have a "modeling career" that should go to more worthy candidates. All of these kids are attractive people (Georgia May Jagger, Kaia Gerber, Hadids, Kendall, Devon Aoki, Cara D., etc.) but imho, most of them would have no modeling career to speak of without their famous parents.
Kristen McMenamy's daughter Lily is a model too, quite an unusual looking one.
Her walk is terrible and her side profile is weirdly really flat? I appreciate she has an interesting look but her face is too small for me. It looks squashed around her mouth. That walk tho
She looks like her mother in many of her ig pics but she’s a different shape. Kristen was very willowy and androgynous

I know fashion, especially high fashion, is all about embracing what’s unique, but I’m not sure I can get into her or Lily Mcmenamy. I totally agree that her side profile looks too odd, and not in a good way. I think ultimately even if you hire someone for their uniqueness, they should still be aesthetically pleasing to look at and photograph and these girls are borderline not. Lara Stone or Freja Beha would be my picks for models with more distinctive looks, or even Emilia Arkensved or one of those doll-face models. Her walk is terrible and her side profile is weirdly really flat? Yeah, I don't get the hype with Kaia Gerber, for example. I think body-wise she has that HF runway look but face-wise she doesn't do much for me - I just find her a little bit too generic-looking and not particularly striking. She seems like a sweet girl though. Not saying she's a bad looking girl but....hard pass. Too many of these celeb/model spawns have a "modeling career" that should go to more worthy candidates. I think she's also somewhat short by today's standards for runway! According to people in the industry, most of the shorter models are an inch or two shorter than their listed height so that means she's only 5'8 or maybe even 5'7 (card height is 5'9). I understand that her mom was a supermodel back in the day but I honestly think having the model look is quite random genetically speaking. A lot of the most beautiful and tallest people come from very average parents and having a model mom doesn't mean you'll be model material.Yeah, I don't get the hype with Kaia Gerber, for example. I was a massive fan of the supers in the 90s.Supermodel Karen Mulder’s story suggests a very dark side to the modelling agency. I hope she’s much happier these days
Modeling And The Tragedy Of Karen Mulder
The news that ’90s supermodel Karen Mulder was arrested in Paris for making death threats to her plastic surgeon could be written off as, at worst, a punchline, or at best, the latest express…therebelheart.net
I think if you’re a celeb spawn or rich/connected, you get a pass. Otherwise, completely agree with you.I have a hard time believing that a reputable modeling agency would fudge their model's numbers by more than an inch. What happens when a model that the client thought was 5'10" shows up to a shoot or fitting, and she's only 5'8"? It could ruin the look they are trying to achieve, or worse, she can't fit into the clothes, and that damages the relationship with the agency. Maybe there is an unspoken agreement regarding insta-models that they all come shorter than advertised, but generally, it seems like too much of a risk.
They honestly do. I have a friend (male) who went to some casting and he’s six foot dead but they told him his “model height” (the words they literally used) would be 6’2”.I have a hard time believing that a reputable modeling agency would fudge their model's numbers by more than an inch. She is a beautiful girl! Shame that she isn't just not very tall, but actually really short at 163cm (card height), so I'm guessing she's 160cm, tops.Speaking of celebrity offspring models, I think Iris Law is gorgeous. Obviously not tall enough to do runway but I think she's got a nice face.
They honestly do, or at least they did when I worked in the industry. I never had any experience with Instagram models because I worked in the industry pre-Instagram. I did work with several big names and none of them were particularly tall.I have a hard time believing that a reputable modeling agency would fudge their model's numbers by more than an inch. This! My friend did work experience at an high profile agency and they used to laugh at the walk ins after they had left. Also, another note about agents. They can be harsh.
Ever sent your pics into an agency and had them rejected? It’s quite possible they will have forwarded them to all their favourite clients and scouts and mocked your pictures, laughed at your delusion.
So, what do people think happened to the lovely Ruslana Korshunova? Was she pushed or did she jump?
Horrible that the news filmed her body on the floor like that.
I agree. She’s one of my favourite models, she was such a great beauty and I loved her campaigns. Some people see to forget that she cut her hair a bit before she died so it wasn’t that at the length she was known for. Plus being involved in that weird cult whilst you are suffering with mental health problems must have just exacerbated how she was feeling.Very late reply, but from everything I've read it looks more of a suicide. I think she was very depressed and was also in a cult thing called Rose of the World which was a cult like thing that is known for its extreme and traumatic methods of "healing". Another model friend of her who attended the Rose of the World meetings also committed suicide a year later I think. She seemed to have been at a very dark place at the time it happened. No evidence of foul play was found, but we never know. There were also some doubts given the distance into which she fell on the floor which could indicate someone pushed her, but this seems to be explained by her climbing to the roof, running forward and then jumping. She also seemed to have her hair messingly cut before she jumped and there were theories if someone cut it to humiliate her or something because her hair was her mark in the industry as she was known as the "Russian Rapunzel". However, cutting the hair is something many depressed people do and fits into her mental breakdown symptoms (this also takes me back to Britney Spears shaving her hair at the time of her breakdown)
I’ve seen a lot of gossip/blinds about Naomi being essentially a madam with ties to Jeffery Epstein and sex trafficking etc. Some go as far to say she has ties with MK ultra and monarch programming, but obviously this is all conspiracy theory unless things come out.
There were also accounts of Britanny Murphy being an escort to very rich men before she died. I've also heard rumors about Naomi having been or being an high end escort to billionaire men but have no idea if there is true to them or not. She has connections though and used to hang out with very rich and powerful men, so we never know.Isn’t it sort of an open secret that a lot of models and actresses, particularly the b and c list ones, are part-time yachters? Even some A-list ones as well. I seem to recall Miranda Kerr being forced to give up a lot of diamonds and jewelry given to her by businessman Jho Low, whose now an international fugitive. There was never anything about them dating on the news until that hit the circuit so I always assumed she was a very expensive hooker for hire to the richest men. Someone must be orchestrating this stuff and I can see someone like Naomi, beautiful and connected but older, being a good fit for this role.
