I fell down a rabbit hole yesterday and came across this

We're honestly supposed to believe that Gigi is the cream of the crop? She can't hold a candle to the other two
Cream of the crop? Curdled milk compared to Helena, Christy and Cindy

Linda Evangelista has been interviewed by Kirsty Young for her Radio 4 show.

It was really interesting to listen to, Linda has been through a lot in her life. She seems a sweet person too, and was very engaging to listen to. Really beautiful voice and manner of speaking.

It's great if Kate feels good about the way she looks. But she becomes meaningless to the world when she no longer looks like Kate Moss, it's the one thing she had going for her. I feel it might have been better for her to age like Brigitte Bardot or Keith Richards and to just own her lifestyle and past. Now she just looks like some lady who had work done. Unrecognizable and uninteresting.

It does seem like maybe Kate is very much delving into the surgery/fillers. At the end of the day probably one of her biggest deals is her collaboration with charlotte tilbury and cosmoss so if she looks like tit in public then that’s a bit no no

Cindy, Christy, etc, all still look amazing, probably because they're not trying to look younger. I never would have thought Kate would be the one to go overboard on the work done

I agree, I wish Cindy hadn't altered her mouth so much, it looks terrible. I think the original supermodels would have all aged really well without much intervention, they were already blessed with extraordinary looks. I get that they want to stay good looking, but younger or tighter isn't always better.

For me, it's her nose. She had a nose job later on (in her 40s I think), and it altered her face so it's not as distinctive.

I still think she looks great though.

I really love Linda’s voice - I found it really soothing when I watched the ‘what’s in my bag’ video she did.

Really petty, but I couldn't stand Agyness Deyn because of her stupid, made-up name. Never got why she was so hyped up an I still believe the stupid spelling was a major part of it. Every few years it's another model that pops up and they always either sport a stupid name or stupid spelling of a pretty normal name. It's like some rite of passage.

I remember reading years ago how she chose the name and it was with a new aged ‘analyst’. Really pretentious stuff. https://www.standard.co.uk/hp/front...hat-s-how-i-made-agyness-famous-6808905.html#
Her mum and sister allegedly changed their surname to Deyn and her mum changed the I in Lorraine to a Y.

I never knew about Agyness dating Giovanni Ribisi when he was still with Cat Power until I read it on this thread. Made me dislike her (and him) even more

Agyness is old friends with Henry Holland (they were at school together I think), and I think they were just part of that late UK/London 2010s zeitgeist.

Kate could have aged with wrinkles, jowls whatever and still looked bleeping stunning. Because she is Kate Moss. Gifted with the most amazing face. Which would no doubt look amazing at every stage of life. As you say she is now a generic woman with work done. It is quite sad tbh as it would have been fascinating to see that lovely face age naturally.
Her choice obviously. And as long as she is happy. But still.

Agreed.
Laura bleepin' Hollins, eh?
She was a right flash in the pan. She looked like a shop girl.
She has had no lasting impact on fashion or modelling whatsoever. Never rolled out for supermodel tributes. Because she wasn't one.
Just a makey-uppy mickey-mouse model who was famous for 1 year - 2006.
She can bag off with her scientology and her pointy little nostrils.

She was a mystery to me so I didn't even know she had changed her name. I always wondered why she was a model, looking very average and I didn't think her family had money to convince anyone to get her on the books.
