Bella is completely artificial, and I will never find her beautiful. Her cheekbones are due to implants, and her nose has been thinned so much that it's in danger of collapsing.

I think she looks nice in the same way an artificial flower looks nice.

I agree, I wish Cindy hadn't altered her mouth so much, it looks terrible. I think the original supermodels would have all aged really well without much intervention, they were already blessed with extraordinary looks. I get that they want to stay good looking, but younger or tighter isn't always better.

I don't think Bella is beautiful at all. Gigi used to be really pretty. Not super model quality, but she would be one of the prettier girls in class. Bella still looks awful to me, I don't get the appeal.

I thought Gigi was stunning. She had that face shape like Devon Aoki - cat eyes and a lovely mouth.
But something has made her face so puffy. She looks like a heavy drinker tbh. Not saying she is but that is the look.
Bella is just quite plain to me. A hard face.

The era itself added to it as well (mostly talking about the late 80s, early 90s). Pre-internet and smart phones, you might see them on tv occasionally, but it was like entering another world looking through the fashion magazines and seeing them in ads and photo shoots. There was always a perfume sample or two that made it extra heady. Total fantasy and mystique that is really missing now. When you see any of the supermodels today, in motion, working, you can see the it factor in play. Despite losing her mystique, Kate Moss still has it.

That's true - no SM or Daily Mail Showbiz section meant you gleaned most info about the supers through magazines, and it was tiny curated snippets eg 'Helena lives in New York and has a dog' . That literally was about it.
And yes the perfume strips in magazines like Elle and Vogue. Or little sachets. Those strips did make reading the magazines feel so glamorous (as well as occasionally lightly lacerate the wrist with application ).

Really petty, but I couldn't stand Agyness Deyn because of her stupid, made-up name. Never got why she was so hyped up an I still believe the stupid spelling was a major part of it. Every few years it's another model that pops up and they always either sport a stupid name or stupid spelling of a pretty normal name. It's like some rite of passage.

I know, it's hilarious that Lottie thinks she is owed anything by Kate. Lottie, you're trash. Oh and the part about how she apparently outshined Kate at her wedding and Lottie's mom was like "your sister won't be happy"- ridiculous

Someone posted some older photos of Karlie Kloss on the last thread. Watching her 'what's in my bag' video for Harper's Bazaar you can really see that she's had work done on her face in recent years/months.

These days every celebrity looks like they had a permanent insta filter installed on their faces…I think she has a ton of botox and had something done around her eyes and mouth area and cheek fillers too, they look pointy from the side
