Went to see the Naomi exhibition today at the V&A. The clothes were mostly incredible. I’m not a fan of hers particularly although she is undoubtedly the best mover on the catwalk. I was struck by how absolutely tiny the clothes were. I’m under no illusions that most models aren’t tiny but I guess I thought as she was tall she would be slightly bigger boned but no…minuscule.

The dress she wore for the last day of community service in NYC (I presume for throwing the phone at her assistant) was on display. She clearly thought it very amusing and a big FU to the authorities but to me it was also a big FU to the fact she had been punished for what she did. The caption underneath the dress was that she did throw the phone and she owned that fact that she did it. (Paraphrasing here) but no apology.

Let’s hope she has a million more percent compassion and empathy with her young children than for her employees

I remember that, it showed her up for who she really was. A nasty piece of work with a total lack of humility and respect for others.

Paloma has lost so much weight, guessing another plus size girl giving in to Ozempic. She’s very average looking as a mid size model but I’m sure designers are happy to have a thinner women appear for them who they can pretend is hitting their diversity quota.

Hilarious to pretend these ex-plus size models are anything amazing once they lose their curves and proportions that made them interesting. They usually disappear from jobs when they lose weight, like Crystal Ren.

I always thought Gigi had the most naturally beautiful face tbh. Bella is, of course, beautiful but a bit bland. Her face isn't very interesting. It's just sort of blandly perfect which isn't necessarily that the same as attractive.

I've always wondered what it feels like when none of your beauty is your own. You always know what you used to look like and that people prefer a manufactured version over you. Maybe Bella thinks that this is what she was meant to look like and feels fine taking praise for it. But somewhere deep inside she must know that she was too weird for the world she wants to be part of, that she wasn't nearly good enough. How much do you have to hate yourself to eradicate your entire face? Think Michael Jackson. Her mother must be evil beyond imagination.

Bella is completely artificial, and I will never find her beautiful. Her cheekbones are due to implants, and her nose has been thinned so much that it's in danger of collapsing.

I think she looks nice in the same way an artificial flower looks nice.

Perfectly normal and lovely looking! But not a supermodel. Like 99.999% of us. Essentially cheated herself into a career by having so much work done. It doesn’t count! I wonder if she does feel inferior next to all those beautiful girls/women who were born beautiful. I’m sure I would - everyone knows you’re a fraud.
