I’ve lived a life as a single mum on benefits and I can assure you, it doesn’t look like that. People like Minnie do such serious harm to single mums on benefits by perpetuating the stereotype of a scrounger who has everything for nothing. It’s just not like that.

She’s not getting that lifestyle completely from benefits income, I think she’s in competition with Alex Wren to see who can build up the most credit card debt by 25.

I have known women on benefits years ago living how she does. Decorating, re decorating, new sofas. Then, it was catalogue purchases, paying weekly. BUT, money was coming from the Dads and Grandparents and cash in hand jobs !

And, same meat different Gravy. I felt they were in competition with the neighbours, other single benefits mums. Always wantee te latest home trend, colour scheme. Latest vaccuum. Things never change, Minnie is no doubt in competition with neighbours too.

Those types definitely exist and Minnie is a prime example; keeping up with the Joneses at the expense of the Joneses hard-earned taxes. She wants top of the range everything without ever having to contribute back to society in any meaningful way, even her “influencing” is self-indulgent. She says she “works” on social media but she doesn’t even treat influencing like a real job, she posts intermittently as and when it suits her and she’s got something to show off, and otherwise she uses it as a platform to therapise herself and cash in a bit of extra pocket money for more frivolity. She’s not even trying to be relatable.

But what I’m saying is it’s important to acknowledge that there are single mums on benefits who use it as a means to an end when they stumble upon temporary hardship, they don’t all exploit the system for a free luxury lifestyle. I resent people like Minnie for so publicly and brazenly being that exact stereotype and doing a disservice to all the single mums on benefits in council houses who have had to kit their homes out on Facebook Marketplace and Freecycle, have had to make kids’ bedroom makeovers birthday presents to justify the expense, haven’t afforded new clothes in half a decade, live years without carpets and decor and certainly wouldn’t ever spend £300 on a rug, meanwhile they’re borrowing tools from friends to hang basic curtain poles because there’s no way they could afford tools of their own.

Silly materialistic girls who have their lifestyles on tick aren’t an accurate representation of life on benefits at all, they’re a representation of entitlement, greed and debt.

Why has she given her boyfriend of 5 minutes creative licence in her home?

She shared the other day how she had wanted to do panelling in her bedroom and then how Kyle had said they should do it instead, and she’s gone for his idea. It looks crap. As does what he’s done up the stairs, it’s so wonky!

There’s a lot of “we” in this home makeover, he’s got his feet pretty firmly under the table pretty quickly. I’m seeing so many red flags!

I wonder if she’s informed the council and benefits that she’s moved a man in?

If he's living there he'd be expected to pay the rent. Years ago partners (Dads)could stay over so many nights a week not permanently reside. What is a worry that her young children have been introduced so early on and him feet under table..its asking for trouble.

Don’t worry Minnie you can thank me later for being at work all day, paying my taxes whilst my child has to go to a childminder! Boils my piss having to support these dickheads!

Remember how self-righteously Minnie was blurring her kids’ faces to give them privacy? Well apparently that doesn’t matter to her anymore 😂 Told ya it was only ever virtue signalling, she doesn’t give a hoot about safeguarding them! After introducing them to a strange bloke 5 minutes in (and taking him on their family holiday), it was only a matter of time before she was back to exploiting them for engagement.

So the latest advert with the new miracle baby laundry detergent is definitely pregnancy baiting..... oh and she's passed her driving test.

So shes going to drive a car that she can't legally drive, with no tax and mot, so therefore no insurance around to check it works. She is also saying about driving it to a dealership to part ex for another car with no tax and mot. Does she realise that it can't be legally driven? She's already stated she needs the mini to be worth £1000 😅🤣, to afford the new car. Has she even factored in the cost of everything else.

I hope she meant that her boyfriend is going to be taking it for a drive later, not herself!

She was a prat for switching to automatic lessons, she would have picked up manual eventually with perseverance and then she could have just driven the car she already has. Or maybe she could have gone back to manual once she got the hang of the other aspects of driving in automatic and sat her test manual. I wouldn’t ever waste my time doing automatic when so many affordable cars are manual, she didn’t think any of this through!

She also wastefully spent £1,400 on having posh car seats. Sounds like they’re worth more than her car! Such a thick twit.

Even if he does drive it, it's not going to be taxed, insured or MOT'd. It'll be interesting to see how much they offer her considering its been sat for 2years at least and how much work could need doing. Also are the tyres suitable to be driving on fr being sat so long, could easily be cracked and started to disintegrate, let alone the breaks.

Firmly back to sharing her kids faces to strangers again! She said on a story that she had been ‘scared to’ but isn’t anymore. Oh right hun, yeah, because suddenly having identifiable information out there and thousands of people you don’t know having access to it is suddenly no longer a risk. Top safeguarding your kids, have a gold star! ⭐

The only thing that’s changed is she has a new boyfriend. Anyone else get the impression she’s just trying to get one up on her ex?

I feel very worried for her. Her stories make me really uncomfortable - she shares so much of where she is and what she’s doing, plus photos of both kids with this guy who she’s only been with for a short while.

This integration of him and his family into their lives so quickly is a red flag. Her decision to start showing their faces again seems to have coincided with lots more of the bloke being shared too?

Byefelicia and Delores agree with you both.

So because of the Sands couple news, what has that got to do with peodos, weirdos and any other god damn stranger that could be dangerous seeing her kids identifiable faces, knowing where she lives and goes..knowing the car she has that will be put on Marketplace on her open IG page. These peodos know where to look.

IMO children should not be introduced to boyfriends as soon as she has and the bfs family..what if the relationship is over as soon as it started. It is a thing some kids growing up with far too many Mothers bfs in their lives - it is not stable and is so dangerous.

Notice on the story Emmy playing with the craft kit Kyle bought her..the story ends and you can just hear Emmy say can I show Daddy.. 'can I show Daddy what I've made with the kit Mummy's Boyfriend bought me' breaks my heart.

I came from a dysfunctional family. different situation to Minnie's My aim. In life was to cycle break. Live a civilised life with a good job, and have a stable family for my own children, I am doing it, breaks my heart to see what i do online.

Remember Jimmy Saville and Rolf Harris..it was in plain sight what they were total creeps and weirdos..some parents wanted their children with these weirdos celebs.

Mum influencing and pimping kids online is a similar scenario . In years to come it will be illegal and future generations will say, can't believe Mothers did that.

As a single mum, getting tied into ongoing big monthly payments, is one of the stupidest things you can do when you could wait and save. You never know what’s around the corner, as someone like Minnie should well understand by now with all of her house moves, relationship breakdowns, and teen pregnancies.

She’s under 25 so her insurance is likely to be high monthly payments too, plus running and maintenance costs. Add that to her sofa payments and very clear Klarna addiction, and she’s looking at a very real possibility that she might not be able to afford the essentials because she’s favoured the luxuries. Silly, silly girl.

If she's competing with the Jones' this is what they do. All now now now Finance/loan all the same = paying more in the long run. Yes insurance for a newly passed YOUNG driver is thousands.

Because she's not had to save for a home. Deposits ect, it's been handed on a plate she has not had to budget, does not want to budget and save.

This week on TV a mother was on, her child was killed in a car crash a newly passed driver. There's campaigns for newly passed to not be able to drive passengers until a certain time when. More experienced. Other countries have this in place already. I forget which ones, Australia could be one.

She was a fool for limiting herself to only driving an automatic, it will make her car hunt all the more challenging. Giving up and going automatic I think is just a symptom of that instant gratification that her generation are accustomed to, buy now pay later is another. Their whole life they’ve had TV on demand services, next day delivery, easy access to credit, they’ve never had to work and wait and don’t see why they should. I despair!

Automatics are more expensive to buy and maintain.

Cars are an utter pain in the neck. Money pit. We could have brand new or nearly new. Choose not too, don't like seeing our money depreciate and won't pay to lease just to drive a new car!
