Never heard of this! I think one of mine had it. He was reading at 2yo. Self tought. Car/supermarket /shops branding he woud find it and say thats TESCOS for example. He was in daycare a couple of days a week, never napped with the others, mooched about at nap time looking for labels and branding to point out and tell the staff ! And the many many questions constantly!!
Oh my, sounds just like my son!! It's the self taught reading that defines hyperlexia so I think you're right.
Logos, flags and the solar system tend to fascinate them too 🩷

What does her boyfriend

This is new to me, but I’m now convinced my almost 9 year old had it, he honestly blows me away everyday with his intelligence, and he’s always been that way, so advanced for his age
Minnie has united the hyperlexia mamas! X

I'm an austistic adult who is hyperlexic so I just want to chime in here to say that hyperlexic kids very commonly turn into quite academically burnout and exhausted adults. Please look out for that if you suspect your kids fall into that category. Please be mindful of celebrating them without unintentionally pushing their special interests, intelligence or academic achievements as their personality wholly, or what makes them "them" if you will ...it's a hard identity shift to unravel in adulthood. Also it's quite often diagnosed alongside autism, it was a major part of my autism being diagnosed as a child. I flew under the radar a lot due to being academically focused and articulate from a very young age. While some of this may sound positive please just be aware that it can actually be quite an all encompassing hyperfixation that distracts from other developmental or social milestones, that inherently internalises a connect between self esteem and productivity.

Other than that, any specifically themed encyclopedia, interesting looking thesaurus' or games centred around words have always been a favorite item of mine to be gifted, and very much still are. Do with that whatever you will lol.

That is actually very informative, so thank you!! We do try and make sure it isn’t a big focal point of his personality, we can definitely see adhd/autism traits in our son that is only now being recognised by the school, he’s about to start year 4, due to the fact he absolutely thrives academically

Has she deleted all her Instagram posts or am I glitching? Has she finally realised that her children deserve privacy?

Shame they don’t also deserve it on TikTok.

Finally got fed up of Kyle not committing to their little family

She strikes me as the sort of girl who would rather be with someone inconsistent than nobody at all though. I hope they haven’t split, that would be rather embarrassing after her immature rush to play happy families in public view, and devastating for her kids.

I really hope it’s just that she’s seen sense about trying to make a living selling her children to strangers. Hopefully Kyle or his/her family have had words with her, she stopped posting their faces on her page a while ago so maybe they weren’t happy to be public and have said they’re not happy for her to jeopardise the children either. Now they can all live happily ever after in private.

Time for a proper job soon, and to stop trying to make a quick buck out of breeding and broadcasting her babies.

All gone for me.
Wonder what this is about
Kids dad spoke up that he doesn’t want his kids on public social media perhaps? Seems odd they’ve all gone and she’s had warnings which she’s ignored before about the dangers of them being out there on the internet.

Last time she stopped showing their faces it seemed to be almost spiteful when she separated from the older kids’ dad. I’d put money on it either being the same idea again, or she’s been told not to by someone who has a say in it. It won’t be off her own back.

I really wouldn’t be surprised if she’s just having some kind of hissy fit because she’s only getting about 12 comments per post on Instagram. She’s still got all their faces on TikTok where she can monetise them.

Can guarantee he isn't living full time with her to affect her benefits.
Of course not! At least not on paper. She’s looking at taking out £1000s in finance for her teeth now, on top of her financed car, financed sofa, financed rug, everything on Klarna and credit. Her monthly outgoings must be massive just in clearing debt, I doubt very much Kyle’s taking on paying for it all.
