Imagine the posts when teeth develop. God help us. No doubt some expert will be paid to sort the behaviour out! Dear innocent baby, you must not complain about those teeth and disturb mummy and daddy 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

These people just don’t get it do they. I honestly just think that they see photos on insta of cute babies and cute outfits and cute sensory classes and cute boujee prams and think ‘omg I want one of those’ most likely with pound signs in their eyes and visions of how much more engagement their posts will get. It’s a baby, it won’t sleep throughout the night, it will cry, it will impact your life 🤣 I just don’t understand how shocked so many ‘celebs’ seem to be at how much kids change their sleep/life. I genuinely think Millie is bored already and done with the baby situ 🙄
Totally agree with this. I honestly read this rubbish from bloggers and roll my eyes. It only gets harder when they become toddlers, better make sure the nursery enrolment is submitted.

Her child has not learned to roll 😂
😂 I thought that- my baby can do that and I haven’t called it a roll- just that it’ll be soon probably.
As for the sleeping stuff, mines a few weeks younger than Sienna, she wakes up a few time s between the 8-8 slot- I’m not gonna lie, I love my sleep but I genuinely don’t think it’s as bad as I was expecting (probably jinxed it now😂) If you have a baby and don’t expect to be woken in the night then you really haven’t done your research 🤣🤣🤣

I actually cannot stand all these influencers who recently had a baby. They are so toxic to new mums. My baby never slept because you know she’s a baby but she got there eventually and slept through the night. These influencers make you think you need to hire sleep experts and have a perfect baby that only needs you to parent them during the day. Also how is it every influencer mama from TOWIE/ MIC were advised to wean their babies early such a coincidence. 🙄

Parenting through the day involves taking them out unnecessarily during a pandemic, dressed up in gifted clothes, in a gifted pram, to meet more than 4 people (babies are included in the 6!), less an 1m apart and to show it off on the ‘gram.

Agree, very toxic. Can’t help but think Millie looks quite fed up in her recent posts (even the one of her dressed up), you have to wonder if everything is perfectly ‘fixed’ with Sienna as she claims? In the early days of motherhood she looked genuinely happy, perhaps the novelty has worn off...

Probably not! The thing is, they are shooting them selves in the foot! By doing these ads for sleep experts and weaning experts they have to pretend that everything is going perfectly when in reality they probably aren’t! They are babies! It is NORMAL for them not to sleep through the night! It is NORMAL for them not really be in to weaning! It is NORMAL if your baby is 4/5/6 months old and still hasn’t rolled! The a week later when they are trying to be relatable (or do an ad for peanut) they say how hard it’s been and how much they’ve struggled! It must be so confusing for first time mums who can’t see through the bull!

Yeah I saw a comment from one pissed off Mum on Lydia Brights Instagram who had bought the Tommee Tippee bottles Lydia was flogging, but then saw Lydia actually uses a different brand in her stories. I noticed Rhiannon Lambert did the same - promoted Tommee Tippee bottles but you can see from her stories she uses Dr Browns (which are better than TT).

Exactly! It can’t be that difficult to keep up with what ads you’ve done so you don’t accidentally leave the wrong bottle in one of your posts!
One of the hardest things for me as a first time mum was having had my baby be up all night and then be unsettled in the day and be told it’s normal! I thought how can it be normal when everyone I see has perfect babies who get put down in their cot and stay asleep and mine wakes up the second I even think about putting him down!
The thing is, all the insta mum perfect life is bull but the fake relatableness is just as bad when one minute they are saying this product really worked for an ad and then the next week they say they are struggling.

Yeah you don’t think you’ll be taken in by their ads but then you literally never see them doing the inane bits and bobs, unless they’re bleating about how they’ve really struggled and basically everything is wrong with their baby eg traumatic birth, reflux, colic. Not taking anything away from the babies that suffer, but they either have nothing and are seemingly perfect, or they were born traumatically and are suffering from all sorts.

The “cooking with what’s in my fridge” post has got to be the worst one to date. Where is your milk, yoghurt, meat, eggs, sauces etc. I get it’s London but you’re a self proclaimed foodie. Why is your fridge so small??? Not relatable, how is she missing the mark so much. Millie looks amazing in that tan boot and jacket with the fury though. Dying for a Charlotte Simone coat. Stick with the fashion Millie and stop trying so hard!

I saw her story about the oddbox thing.. Why is there nothing else in the fridge?! It just implies she doesn;t cook imo? I used to get oddbox but quit as it was often filled with plastic and veg that went off insanely quickly

Yeah I was a convert, but stopped because a lot of it would go off the next day/sometimes by the time I received it.

She’s posted that the baby is teething and doesn’t want to be put down “please send tips”.

Holding her distressed baby is clearly too obvious a suggestion 🥴

there’s a left hand side to her fridge, it looks like an American style one. So she’s just shoved all her “normal person” food into the other side.

I noticed the reply box is turned off but the best tip would be to give her lots of cuddles, but sounds like that would be a massive inconvenience to Millie! When will Insta Mums realise that it is normal for baby to wake in the night, normal for them to have days when they are cranky. And you can’t always pay someone to ‘fix’ them because they are not broken they are normal babies!!

I am sure Millie has all the ibuprofen and paracetamol in the world to ‘cure’ her baby’s cries. Never mind about poor Sienna’s liver .. Millie needs her rest

I’m a first time Mam and in my late 30’s so certainly not a kid but I found myself getting drawn in with all these Instagrammers and perfect babies. I got myself really down about my baby not sleeping until I had an realisation, unfollowed them all and now I’m so much happier. I feel sorry for the Mams that are still drawn in, it’s awful feeling like you’re not good enough or doing something wrong for your baby.

Even the ones who try to be ‘relatable’ with their non-sleeping babies, either magic it away with the sleeping gurus or they do my head in with the constant moaning about being tired. We get it, babies are tiring! It’s the first thing people tell you about babies, it’s the first thing you learn growing up- babies cry and don’t sleep when you would probably like them to, or for as long as you’d like. If it’s not the constant seemingly perfect lives, it’s the constant moaning about not being as great as it seems. Just get on with it 😂
