I haven't seen much, but most I have seen are as you said, surprise. I don't think that's a bad thing either. I was surprised at how much older she looked and that isn't in a bad/negative sense at all

I understand and agree with the problems with surrogacy, but this is adoption... genuinely, what's the issue?
I wouldn't say so. I was the same age as her when I married and had my first child
She is quite young for two babies but you know what, good for her. She has the means to give these children a great life. She's not renting another woman's womb like a lot of celebrities do these days, she's giving children a stable home who wouldn't have one otherwise. Maybe she's not able to get pregnant or maybe she just doesn't want to be.
I think she's just very caring and wants to give babies(and her rescue animals) the best life possible as she has the means and money to be able to.
I don’t believe she just adopted, I think they also know the backlash of saying surrogacy and they’re just giving it a different title. The process to adopt is long and arduous, I find it very hard to believe if they weren’t famous they would hand over two babies to a 22 year old.
This is a huge reach and doesn't even make logical sense... Celebs don't care about the backlash or the opinions of us little people, lady gaga proudly announced her child via surrogate just before this announcement...and she's 22, with all the resources available to give a child a good life, not 16. They're also in the US and we have no idea how long and arduous the process they've been through is?

There were the most awful rumours about how her parents would use her for fame/money back when ST started and she was still a very young minor girl. I hope they weren't true but there are a lot of appalling stage moms/dads out there.
