They remind me so much of my ex husband’s family. They once did this on holiday in Greece, my ex mother-in-law hated me though, so didn’t tell me what they had planned, and they brought a blue coloured shirt for my ex husband to put on when he got there. I stood back and laughed as they had their photos taken, happy for passersby to assume I had nothing to do with them!! That just brought up some repressed memories

I think she’s very boring looking probably doesn’t know how to let her hair down and enjoy herself as to busy trying to keep a good image and look good. I personally don’t think she’s as pretty as other people seem to think she is. imo just an ordinary looking girl nothing startling not being bitchy but just don’t get the hype with her

When the rumours of Mark and Michelle dating first came out she rang Galaxy Manchester’s breakfast show (Rob, Rachel & Wingman) to vehemently deny it. I remember listening to it and she was adamant she’d never go near him. She even mocked him. I was really surprised a few months later when they went public with the relationship. I do think it’s some sort of business deal to up their profiles..but that said it’s gone on a bit long now..

Katie does seem in live in Michelle's shadow so it's interesting she is pregnant, made me wonder if Michelle was 'trying' and Katie copied as she seems to just follow her around anyway. The absence of Instagram interaction between Mark and Michelle seems too poorly done if they are trying to sell their brand. Seems more like a couple properly struggling with hating each others faces

I think they married in May 5 years ago and to be honest I thought they would last 18mths to 2 years tops. Maybe being apart has made it last longer? I also remember the Wrights saying they wanted grandkids which is interfering but why don't they try and push their own 2 girls to get pregnant if they are that desperate they don't have any kind of careers to speak of, at least Michelle has a successful career which she may not be ready to put on hold.

I always used to say the same about Carol and Jess, controlling and just wanted him to themselves so they treated poor Lauren like dirt. I’ve got a mother in law the same but she didn’t show her true colours until I married her son. She then would send letters telling him to chose me or her, want days out with just her, hubby and the kids and I wasn’t allowed to come and she would ring every Christmas saying she would kill herself if he didn’t spend it with her. She used to send cards at Christmas to the kids and a wonderful son, leaving me out. She would write nasty things on my Facebook photos. Once I got a new car and she wrote ‘another rope around my sons neck I see ‘.. She used to say I was lazy not working despite having 3 children under 3.5 years, her son often worked away, I worked my stones off. After my Nan died she told me to get a job in a funeral place advertising for a secretary when she could see how much I was grieving without my Nan. Hubby never used to say boo to her. The last time I saw her she threatened to rip my throat out and that was it, I left my husband for 2 months as he never stood up to her. After a decade I’d had enough. He begged me to come back, then he finally stood up to his mum about how he treated me, so she cut him off and the kids, Our marriage now is wonderful and I hate to say that. Having a mother in law like that, and like Carol puts a huge strain on your marriage and a son doesn’t usually go against his mum. I really feel for what they did to Lauren and good on Mark for standing up to them.

Sorry I offloaded that but omg they annoy the hell out of me and mother in laws can be complete nightmares.

New to this thread but spent AGES reading it all last night and registered as a member so I could comment saw on Michelle’s Instagram that Katie the cousin commented on the pic she posted of herself in white shorts and a white top that looked like a jumpsuit ... Michelle commented back saying something along the lines of she thought she would like it, so feud has obviously been put on the back burner. Watched/fast forwarded a few of Marks cringe videos and saw that he tried to say she had just done his work out upstairs at the end of his video. Also there’s an article where Michelle moans that she just wants to sit and chill and eat during lockdown and he keeps going on at her saying she is lazy and making her exercise twice a day which is more than she normally does ..... the day would never come that I let a man make me exercise twice a day ... but then I am single maybe for a reason

Yes I remember something like that!! The whole family just seem dumb as fuck. All they are interested in is crushed velvet furniture, glitter canvases and fucking sheesh chigwell it’s typical... Jess and the younger sister jumped on the bandwagon of black lives matter by posting a black square on their insta but have said nothing about it since, defeats the purpose of the whole thing!

Not really sure she was v attractive in those days and they put great store by that, I wonder if they found her a bit needy as her own Mum wasn't around, so MAYBE, she started to relate to Carol as a mother figure? Then of course that made her vulnerable and they are the types who will trample on the vulnerable? Or did the Wrights just think that she was just a teenage fling and that their lovely, handsome boy would end up with someone better than Lauren and they really didn't think she was good enough for their tribe. Just some ideas but who knows?

My ex was similar to Mark in his arrogant cheating ways and his brother and him were mummy's boys. She hated me for absolutely no reason other than I told her precious son the truth of his ways. I think mothers can't accept they've done a shitty job and its always the womans fault. Mother in law from hell is a big thing. My mother is the same to my sister in law when my brother treats her like shit. Luckily she has my sis and I on her side , but we wish she would leave him. To be fair our mother doesn't really get involved in the dramas anyway so its no carol wright situ.

He calls her boring and complains that she doesn’t make an effort with creepy Jess and Carol. I don’t know if Michelle is aware of the cheating but I heard this from someone close to the Wrights. His brother, Josh, is equally vile.

Yeah that Jess is such an attention seeker. I’ve always thought that family are strange, they’re a bit too inbred. Didn’t Jess live with her Mum until she was 30 odd and her Mum was crying her eyes out at the thought of her leaving home. But the funniest thing is, she only moved local and to an apartment that was across the hallway to where Mark lived . Who moves out of the family home to live next door to their brother. The younger sister is similar to jess too. Instagram full of pics of herself half dressed, just had a quick glance on insta and saw this pic, they’re just too close of a family for my liking .

yeah there’s loads of behind the scenes photos that obviously shows they have feelings for each other I’m honestly shocked mark and her are still together the ones below we wasn’t even filming! This was after we filmed the second season and we had to film the prologue for Georgie and elvis as you can tell in the pictures they became so used to cuddling and holding hands they litreally stopped hiding it from cast and crew none of these shots were filmed this was in between takes
