Yes, Michelle definitely couldn't pull off some of the scenes Sarah Lancashire did in Happy Valley. She is a powerhouse actress, who can do so much with such little expressions and quirks. Fillers/Botox alone would stop that for Michelle

That was the short version, she was vicious, she definitely taught me to never ever treat my children’s partners like that. She’s lost her son and grandchildren now for no reason at all other than she has real issues with herself. My father in law divorced her 19 years ago, and he told me she has a real issue with women, he couldn’t understand why she treated me so badly. He even had it out with her a few years ago and she said ‘I don’t mean to do it’ So very strange. Lauren definitely had a lucky escape there with Marks Mum. It put a huge strain on my mental and physical health living with that stress for 15 years before she cut us off completely.

I just wonder what these women did, ie Jessica Wright, The Faier sisters etc do before Towie, did they have proper jobs or were they on benefits. If I remember correctly, Sam Faires was wanting to be a glamour model, I think she had done page 3 or FHM or something at least before towie. Far cry from the Stepford Wife she wants to be now. I think the original lot were all quite young, like just out of school/college young so I doubt any of them had real career. Amy childs was a beautician. But it is crazy to think back in the day you weren't famous unless you were a singer, actor or comedian or whatever. You had the odd person like Paris Hilton. Nowadays you have more people famous for just being them than you fo have of people with talent. What is Mark Wright up to? Since leaving towie apart from I’m a Celeb, a little stint in America and a radio show I don’t recall him doing anything successful. Didn’t the America thing flop? I don’t think he loves Lauren. I don’t think he could ever be properly in love with anyone but himself and his Mum. A lot of towie storylines were scripted also. Looking back I think that speech was an F YOU to his family. They were childhood sweethearts and 10/11 years is a long time, and he genuinely loved her. I think his family and their controlling ways kept them apart. I also think Mummy’s boy Mark would run back and tell them what Lauren had said to him, but not all the vile things he said and did to her
