She’s put “worst pic ever” on that picture of River’s baby shoes that she’s taken at her Ma’s house and it’s so obvious she means because the background isn’t aesthetic xoxo sad… she also claims she’s living her best life “and then some” but for as long as I’ve been aware of her online existence all she’s ever done is moan about going to the post office or having to reply to customer service emails, dreamy.

Yes I thought the exact same about Kelly buying the house! Can tell Carrie is the type to neverrr be happy for someone else’s success, wouldn’t surprise me if she unfollowed her as soon as she started talking about the mortgage situation. I’m happy for Kelly, she seems a lot more down to Earth.
I’m happy for Kelly (even if I’m deep down a bit jel, too!) She’s not perfect but she’s so much more approachable and doesn’t seem like she hates her job 🤷‍♀️

Don’t buy into the GoHenry tit. It’s an absolute rip off. This is coming from somebody who was stupid enough to buy into it for roughly two years! It’s been a bleeping nightmare to cancel and charges you monthly. Takes money from your account ‘to top the kid up’. Best off contacting your bank or an old fashioned piggy bank.

Ooh thank you for sharing! I’ve been considering getting one for my daughter (have been wanting to teach her more about money for a while) but will steer clear of gohenry!

Revolut is free and doesn’t require you to pay. Also, if you’re child is over 11, most banks offer children’s accounts with a card.

I used to really like Carrie but not surprised to see her pop up on here. She’s completely unrelatable now. The only thing I do like about her still is she’s very open and honest about the fact she has fillers and Botox which is refreshing as so many influencers deny it when it’s obvious. But getting real scrounging, mean girl vibes off her recently and notified she’s transitioning to a bad influencer. Such a shame. There’s probably two influencers I like now

Is she trying to step on the cult of youth girl's toes or what??!!

I think she’s going to start doing gift packages like ‘don’t buy her flowers’ where you put together a few bits as a gift. She was asking about books the other day

im always confused by this… Margate is a dump tbh, it’s pretty cheap for the south east of England. She’s mentioned tons about a six figure salary, why can’t she get a mortgage?!

Maybe by six figures she meant

£ 9878.36 🤣

she would definitely get a mortgage earning a six figure salary, something doesn’t add up, literally! She also does a few ads here and there. I guess it’s probably the deposit she can’t get together. Too interested in buying designer clothes. I reckon she has reallllly poor money skills.

There's definitely something that doesn't quite add up.
She kind of brags about how much she doesn't have to get a conventional job, but then can't get a mortgage.
I honestly think she mainly lives off freebies and selling gifted clothes etc and the "mummy merch" probably pays the rent.

And I honestly don't believe for a second that she doesn't get support from Sam like she claims!

I dunno, I get the impression she’s the one supporting him!

I don't know, I quite like it. The monthly fee is minimal really and it's quite useful in that you can have an app and monitor things/create job lists/savings pots etc. I think it's a good introductory tool into managing money properly and in a format they can see, rather than just a lump of money in a bank. I don't think it's a long term thing for us, maybe just a year, but my daughter has just turned 11 and it's helpful.

You can set how much (and that can be zero) they get topped up every week and you can just transfer into it as and when, it's like a lot of things, if you take half an hour to work out the app and read it all, you won't end up in a pickle. If you know someone who has one then they can give you a referral code that gives you some money and usually a month or two for free so you can investigate without the pressure.
