Most influencers seem to be like this. Some justify it with ‘it’s my job’ makes me sick. Arsing around on your phone and having some ‘mum merch’ Printed with stolen art work on isn’t ‘hard work’ in my book. The way she bleats on really pisses me off, especially when you’re constantly busy and juggling and see some idiot in a 1000£ coat moaning on
Also, her art work that she didn’t give the credit to. And her general attitude... to be honest the non disclosure of ads didn’t actually bother me as much as her smugness and self satisfied attitude. She seems to think the world owes her and that she’s just so unbelievably cool.
Her stories are actually doing what I hate so much. ‘OMG food banks’ ‘OMG where to buy the most expensive olive oil’ ‘omg food banks’ ‘omg! I’ve got a new brand partnership’ ‘OMG how to search for a food bank’ ‘omg the best ways to invest in a really good camera and props when you’re a brand partner, like I am for sky’

I do admire her hustle, and the lack of ducks. I give far too many ducks to people who probably forgot I exist. But at the end of the day, it’s just mama merch, and now it’s just ads. She definitely played it smart, using R to get the following then cutting him out. Carrie is so transparent with so much but there’s things like the cheap backpacks that don’t sit right.

With a business, that isn’t money in your pocket. That money would go straight back in to keep the business going. There are huge costs involved. insurance, an accountant, website costs, money to buy stock, buy ink, buy packaging, pay for postage. Laptop/printer/ink/paper. Rent a studio.I know she didn’t have one til recently) the Uber’s to the post office are business costs as she doesn’t drive. The are so many costs to factor in. Many business owners don’t take any wage out of the business for years. Plus just because it was six figures in the first/second year doesn’t mean it is now. It could have dropped to half that for all we know.
If just for guessing sake she was left with £25k out of that 100k. When raising a child in London where rent is £1200+ a month plus bills, plus huge cost of living in the capital, plus travel back and forward to rivs dad (she mentioned today it was £87 a week for four years) with no financial help from rivs dad I’d say she quite easily could be skint sometimes. It’s all relative. Six figures seems a lot but it’s not going into her account for spending. Just a bit of perspective cos i used to think how could she be skint!!??

I know it's none of our business but I am SO curious about if her sons dad really doesn't contribute at all, she says they are best mates but then is alwaaays talking about how she doesn't have any financial help from him, unless she means he only gives the bare minimum? It doesn't really add up because he clearly spends a lot of time with their son. A while ago on the podcast she said the same thing, he must know that she says this and that it makes him look...not great?!
Yes she’s said it tons of times that he doesn’t pay. Sometimes as annoying as it is, it causes so much emotional distress that sometimes it’s easier to just say duck it if he doesn’t wana pay then there’s nothing I can do and there’s no point in me getting myself worked up to the point it’s affecting my mental health. I don’t think I could be such good friends with a parent that doesn’t pay but maybe it was more important for her to accept it and just get along for rivs sake. I bet if riv was going without then he would step up tbh but generally it falls on Carrie. He seems like a really good dad. Maybe he has genuine reasons he can’t pay, high rent, high debts, family to look after. We just don’t know, not that mums have a choice in the matter
Can you take a parent to court to pay child maintenance do you know? I'm pretty sure you can. She should do that, instead of plastering it on the Internet that he doesn't pay.... Again this conversation would be fine if it wasn't for the fact she's until very recently exploited her child's privacy.
No one wants to grow up and find out the nitty gritty about their personal lives is all there for the public.

she does make me laugh with her mannerisms/chat but it's not hard to see why someone might be confused by what she meant. I didn't assume "stealing" because my mum literally did the same thing when she worked at various factories (she's a seamstress) there's so much off cuts and wastage. I hope it wasn't a tattler who messaged that though, I'm pretty sure there's some rule that you're not meant to?
