We are landlords for a few properties (which I'm aware means Carrie et al will automatically hate me) but I do agree with her to some extent. An inspection, whether the tenant is in or not, scheduled well in advance or with 24 hours notice is a really invasive thing, and it *is* patronising. Landlords do get bitten by shit tenants, we have, but if you are so incredibly nervous that you feel you need to breathe down the neck of your tenant then you shouldn't be a landlord. Generally speaking, the more trust and respect you show a tenant, the more you get back.
Do a check in 6 weeks or so after they've moved in to make sure there are no issues - on either side - and then just maintain good communication.
Also, in my experience, yes, ALL estate agents are utterly useless dickheads. I have never in my entire life met one who could do their job at the very bare minimum and wasn't an utter twat. I don't trust them as far as I can throw them. Estate agents are the thorn in the side of the landlord/renter relationship. Bleurgh.

So without further ado….. a timeline of how I came to this conclusion and name reveal below.
For legal purposes this is all alleged and entirely my own opinion based on online observations
So when I saw the news it disgusted me and being nosy I visited Sam’s profile. A photo stood out to me, I can’t remember the specifics but it was him surrounded by roughly 4 women.
When I was clearing my search history today I clicked back on his profile and the photo was gone, which let me know it was one of these 4 women and peaked my interest in investigating this further. Clean bandit tours with the same group of people and I found each woman’s profile easily.
In the comments under Carries post it’s clear the other woman has a husband and kids of her own, we also know this is someone he works with, this whittled it down to two of the women.
Both of them have two children, one has photos of her getting married on her profile the other does not so I can’t be sure she’s married but I can be sure she has a long term partner with whom she shares her children with.
I initially thought it was the woman with wedding photos on her page however I now know it’s not because….Sam is still following her. He is however NOT following the other woman despite her still touring with clean bandit.
The other woman is allegedly and in my opinion…Kirsten Joy.
