Men are trash

I’m yet to find a decent man so in my opinion men are the absolute worse. My ex was a gaslighting, arrogant wick who made me lose my identity during the 4 years we were together. I missed him terribly when he dumped but in the last year, I’ve really grown in my confidence. I love being single even if some days I feel lonely. But the thought of being near a man repulses me and I just can’t see being with someone for a very very long time!

I know it’s hard and I’m sorry for my bluntness but don’t waste your time, energy or tears on a man who isn’t thinking about you. Men are like mascara, they usually run at the first sign of emotion. So don’t waste your time on them!

I don't think all men are trash. My fella isnt trash and I hope I raise my son well enough for him to not be trash either. I just think the phrase 'men are trash' fits well when a guy has ducked your friend round 😂 but not all men are trash - there a decent guy out their for everyone.

My ex boyfriend was a gaslighting, horrible, evil, manipulator but I still don't think all men are trash 😊

It took me nearly three years to get over my last ex. I still find myself avoiding anywhere he might be. I never want to see him ever again.

That was a painful break up and the relationship was very damaging. Now I feel more like myself but I don't even find myself fancying anyone anymore, it's like that part of me has died. I realise I should probably seek therapy for this but I can't afford it so I'm just venting instead.

I don't trust men. I've never experienced a happy romantic relationship.

I fully believe that there are good men out there, but for every decent man, there are 247 really tit men. The numbers are not on our side.

I’m going to piss people off but why come into a thread entitled “Men are trash” to say they’re not?!
Of course we’re not talking about every single guy but sorry, most guys are and that’s who we’re talking about here. Not your boyfriend/husband etc - it’s always attached women who want to stick up for them too.

We know NOT ALL men are trash.

This thread is a bit ridiculous. Imagine having a thread named "all women are trash".
If you have such a poor opinion of men then I doubt you'll find the decent ones. You know the whole weird incel crap? They berate women and blame women for their lot well it's a bit like that.
Come on take a bit of responsibility for your future. If you keep dating awful men who use you then you're an adult do something about it. Stop allowing men the power and agency.
I see it with my best friend she literally goes from one disaster to another yet she is blameless yet she makes theses choices.

There are some wonderful men.

I think people are adult enough to know there’s obviously decent men (and women) out there but you can’t blame people for having poor experiences and it completely ruining their trust and mindset.

My partner is a good man, but he has his days. For example, the last week I would have described him as absolute trash :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: He's redeemed himself now but all men have their moments. As Watermelon says, there's someone out there for everyone :)

I'll probably return to this thread in 3-5 business days to ag my man off again for being trash

If you constantly get bitten by every dog that you pet, you're eventually going to start disliking dogs 😂 😅

💯 with you here. We all have fathers, brothers, cousins, friends etc who are good men, but this thread is our way of venting about those men that aren’t. It’s like saying ‘nothing ever goes right for me’ or ‘I’m having the worst day ever’, neither of these statements are completely true, but in the majority it seems they are. Might I suggest those nay sayers stop taking everything so literally and leave us people, who are currently having a hard time with most men, alone to vent in peace. 🤛🏻

My Dad was a man. I adored him 🤷‍♀️
i adored mine, more than I could ever express. I adored my ex-husband more than I could ever express. We are mostly talking about our awful experience of men in the romantic sense, or lack there of!

My partner has some wonderful traits and we are well suited in lots of ways, but when he's shown me some of his WhatsApp group chats with other (married, educated and successful) men, I lose a little faith. The casual misogyny, lowest common denominator 'banter' and the ways in which they never hold each other to account is disappointing.

I'd like to see more attached women calling this out, instead of pretending their husbands/boyfriends are perfect and turning this into a single woman problem.

Totally agree, men are absolute trash, married a complete & utter wanker, treated me like tit over the years, physically & mentally abused me, but I stayed because I was told i would never find anyone else, he was the best I would get, nobody would want me, suppose in a way he was right, he ducked off with someone young enough be his daughter & yep I’m on my own with nobody!

My husband’s friend group are like that, and I’ve very openly called it out for what it was in front of a couple of them before. He is no longer in the group chat because things were said that even he felt was taking it too far. It’s not just a single woman problem. I know my husband isn’t perfect, nobody is.

I used to work with men you would call woke nowadays. Guardian reading lefties, so called family guys. But if you overheard the way they referred to women if they thought nobody was around, it was an eye opener. If they were young females, they were bits of meat, and spoken about accordingly. If the women were older just the usual misogynistic name calling. They are somebody’s dad, brother, husband etc too.
