The rest of the comment is gross as duck though, and ironic given that the commenter clearly isn’t an expert
In Middle East relations! I can’t stand Melanie but I applaud her using her platform to call out a horrific genocide, it’s more than a lot of other influencers are doing.
I’d wholly expect her to be outside Leinster House (with her placards out ) reminding them to boycott the St Patrick’s Day celebrations at the Whitehouse.

Two days into the year lads and she's already started with her formula shaming, apparently making a bottle takes you away from your other children, did you ever hear such rit? God forbid one of the kids would have to go 5 minutes without being held 🙄

Literally making out that making bottles up and cleaning them is a big unsurmountable task 😂

It would be for someone like Melanie who clearly lacks basic hygiene and cleanliness.

Taking 5 minutes to make a bottle is bad form for your other children but sees no harm in feeding her eldest ready break and pancakes for dinner 7 days a week, oh and plonking them down in front of a TV all day including meal times is grand.

She'd want to shut up she's farrrrrrr from a model mother thinking she has some divine right to lecture on motherhood. Hilarious.

Joanne larby is on bragging that river has never ever been sick not even a runny nose because he's breastfed.and then said he tested positive for covid before..so he's HAD covid Joanne,he's also not in creche and let me tell U when he's eventually in preschool or school he will be dripping snot for years my oldest never had a drop of breastmilk and they are almost 10 and had maybe 5 antibiotics ever, never a vomiting bug etc and never breastfed,it's genetics and pure luck not magic milk, and I am genuinely pro breastfeeding IV had family breastfeeding toddlers I think it's a great bond and has huge benefits but it doesn't prevent illness,a friend's 2.5 year old is breastfed and sick once a month sometimes twice.

Agreed! I think most people in general as pro breastfeeding, and then when the age factor comes in you have people with varying opinions. I think that part should be left solely to the family to decide but people who breastfeed their 5 year old’s in public should know that a lot of people will find that odd and not be so sensitive about getting weird looks and that.

But yeah most people are pro breastfeeding but I find that a lot of EBF mothers have a complex about them that their martyrs and victims because of the way they choose to feed their child so they drone on and on about it but like it’s always about them never about the child. Even when they’re talking about sickness, it’s always my choice to breastfed is keeping my child from getting sick.

Like congratulations you fed your baby, the absolute bare minimum one must do as a parent.

Dead on the money. 😂

Like the time she went through four Emma mattresses in two years. Beggy Mitchell. "Fast furniture" when it suits.

I think if people gave a 5 yr old a baby bottle in public the looks would be equally as bad.

Also pro breastfeeding and a mother who formula fed.

What I think is hilarious about Mel shaming formula feeding mothers is the fact that formula has also got everything in the milk a baby needs. Not saying it's better than breast milk but it is a very valid option for those who want to use it.

So what she breastfed and then mentions it any chance she gets to then has a three year old that gets zero nutrition from veg, pulses, protein etc in his diet which is way more important for a child and WILL absolutely impact health. He will be lacking in so much because all he eats is bananas, pancakes and pasta. Oh and pureed fruit from a pouch. I'd be a whole lot more worried about the nutrients he's getting now than ranting about breastmilk when he's actually turned out to be a fussy eater.

She also said he's constantly sick from preschool. He hasn't been eating power foods to build up his immunity. No fruit or veg in sight. So the breastmilk really made sweet duck all of a difference on that one 😂

She was equating formula to fast food and her child eats processed junk.. the gall 😂

Oh and while I remember she used to brag about her first never getting sick thanks to breastmilk and now her second who is also breastfed is constantly sick. So tell us again how breastmilk stops a baby catching illnesses.

She boils my blood 😂😂

Remember when she wore Baldy’s mum’s dress whilst on a date with him? Insane behaviour. Is that the same dress?
