So you should tell people you don’t need meds when a doctor hasn’t spoken nor assessed you? After 7yrs through waiting lists to help a child you wouldn’t agree with some stupid
witch trying to seem relatable.
She’s full of
tit… like every other aspect of drivel that reeks out of her.
Her own friend (Aine’s sister) has said she has never been diagnosed and has fair idea she’s just looked online and said oh that’s me… because she is obsessed with everyone always giving her attention, no matter at what cause, if you think you have it, go get professional assessing because if you do it WILL be affecting your day to day and there is a reason it’s described as a disability as it disables multiple day to day issues…
Don’t belittle people who have had to fight for help for years, of course you can go private but you can also pay someone to say you have it without the consultants, testing, medical trials. So it’s not equal? Any parent in a support group would agree. It’s life changing. It’s not a fashion accessory 🥱

Agreed… you’re right!
It isn’t an online fashion trend it does take doctor intervention. Many many parents I’ve met over the years have struggled with various levels but the one theme is they ALL got doctor and consultant aid and official diagnosis. It’s completely different to self diagnosis… what does that do bar label yourself? You won’t get medical help or support diagnosing yourself online. It’s used like a Gucci purse these days. Every kid I know diagnosed or in a group are wholly embarrassed by it and angry about it, not the way mainstream is advertising it.
Think that commenter is ignorant as hell as it’s a hard path for any parent in a support system, not just my own. I don’t know any that are doctors diagnosed and able to withstand zero medical help. So if it’s genuine a genuine case will go to a specialist not diagnose on some stupid TikTok, no one would diagnose Down syndrome or even cancer themselves…
