I think this woman is in for a very swift dose of reality when that baby comes.

Unless she's one of the lucky ones that gets a unicorn baby that sleeps all night and never cries.

Even when you have one of those I don't think it's possible to comprehend the absolute seismic shift involved in becoming a mother. Maybe if you're very thick skinned it isn't like this but for me the person I was before was gone forever.

My youngest would only sleep on my chest for the first 12 weeks of his life. I don't think I ever got him to sleep for longer than 15 minutes in the moses basket.

My eldest was a super easy baby til he hit the 4 month sleep regression and then the shit hit the fan

She’s done an entire reel “waiting for baby” and expressed her frustration at not going into labour yet and is then passive aggressively replying to comments where people have made suggestions on things to encourage labour. If she didn’t want that then what was the point of the reel? She is truly insufferable now.

It’s weird when they think they’re above criticism. You’re putting your life online in order to sell things. That doesn’t mean everyone has to be nice to you. I always think if you can’t handle the heat then get out of the kitchen. I’m obviously not talking being mean, but questioning things and whether reviews are truthful is completely fair. I wish I could start a Claire thread largely because I also think it’s wrong how much information she shares about her kids with their faces online.

It’s just not real life for most people is it? Yes she’s a lot fitter than I will ever be, but she’s here there and everywhere whilst most heavily pregnant ladies can barely move or afford to do what she’s doing. Of course that’s not Megs fault but it’s just all so smug.

I know everyone is different (and I’m not aiming this at anyone if they have done the same) but even if you felt amazing during that first week I can’t understand the rush to go out and about every single day for coffee and cake dates.. everything she done in the last few weeks waiting for baby. Why not just switch off and enjoy that first magical week as a family of three getting to grips with baby and just savouring the moment!

That wouldn’t make for interesting look-at-me, look-at-me, look-at-my-fabulous-life type content though would it?
