Exactly this! Between her and Meg it's rapidly becoming really insulting to those of us who aren't jetting off every 5 minutes as if it's completely normal to go on yet another press trip, pr lark, and so on.

Nothing puts me off a brand like a press trip. I understand brand deals and sponsored posts if they match up well with the influencer in question but yeah what was the point?

I don't understand why Claire is constantly putting herself out there, yet claims that she's sensitive and doesn't like criticism. The two things don't go together, and I also really wish she'd stop featuring all 3 children so much. Everybody that follows her, and people that don't, know far too much personal information about them all. All parents need to stop using their children for content really, it's not as if they've given their permission.

I think that follower read way too much into that post tbh, I didn’t feel it was that deep. A few crying emojis were used as a joke, that’s it. It’s clearly triggered something in that follower but honestly, just scroll on by.

She is also clearly very triggered by it hence her most recent stories

I'm confused about this US trip; I thought from the stories about the travel agent that it was #kindlygifted or at least she'd got some money off, but now her posts don't seem to be marked as an Ad... Their lifestyle must be so expensive, how do they afford this on a junior Dr's salary and her Instagram money?! Premium economy transatlantic isn't cheap.

I agree. I don’t know if I’m just jealous I’m not getting free stuff and instead have to actually work. But watching these things makes me cringe so hard. Then I think well someone must be liking it, but then I look through the comments and they are mostly from other influencers!

Agree on both of them. Loved Meg when it was house interiors and her time in Perth. But since giving up her previous job and the wedding dress debacle has become really “ooh look at me” type of influencer. She was more authentic before. Not very relatable anymore. They always like each others posts and literally copy each other nail; rings in every finger, funky nail designs, the little hand wave when trying on clothes. Have some originality!

Claire seems to moan about not getting reel likes or those who challenge things she says. She’s said before she can struggle with that side of influencing etc so get off social media and live life more quietly rather than broadcasting it everywhere and showing your kids. I think both have become more insufferable and muted their stories as a result.
Interesting as I thought it was just me who had noticed. They’ve definitely changed, it’s a shame as I loved their style and inspo.

It does, but I imagine they’re just good with money. They’re not living in some massive posh house, half of their clothes are free and he is a doctor remember.

I used to really like both, especially Claire, but omg ever since they’ve gone travelling frankly she’s become insufferable, she is moaning every single day about something, it’s exhausting. I still haven’t got over that they’ve also left their elderly dog for a year to travel…I frankly find that astonishing

I guess she’s had some pushback on the Pilates machine given her latest stories. She’s a sensitive soul so it must have been reallly difficult for her .

Yeah, all gifted £2000 worth of it If she's feeling bad about it she obviously realised deep down that her lifestyle, this year especially, has turned into a parade of ads, free trips, and gifts that a lot of her followers won't appreciate, or afford. I'm wondering if someone has seen she's been mentioned on here and told her, timing is very convenient for her to talk about the whole pilates thing

I'm finding something quite distasteful about her story calling out a follower for being irritated by her woe is me home to a million packages post. It's a very thoughtful message which isn't at all rude. If these packages aren't gifted/ PR she's hugely lucky to be in a financial position to buy so much stuff brand new. She's also just returned from a luxury holiday. She can do what she likes with her money, but she can't expect people to sympathise with her having to open parcels which she has herself ordered...

Hopefully she gets a nice easy baby that travels well, sleeps and eats etc. She’ll be in for shock if she thinks she can hop on a plane to Australia with a colicky baby that cries all day, everyday. Be interesting what her content becomes.

I ended up muting both Meg and Claire as all the bragging about travelling and being so, so lucky was really bloomin' annoying. Had to laugh though when I saw this about not posting constant clothes hauls (and other things that people don't want to see any more) and noticed that Meg had the nerve to like it Does she understand the word irony?!

Somebody needs to start a thread for Claire, pretty please. Her latest about the bloody Pilates thing has driven me over the edge, does she think everybody has a room just for a reformer machine? Self-entitlement at its best.
