I read yesterday that Ekin-Su was poised for America butfell out with someome and it backfired. Love Island seems to be the show for getting you worldwide fame and breaking America.
She should try Heart FM and get pally with Amanda Holden she seems to stay as a key presenter at Heart FM and have Britians Got Talent and 2 other TV shows with Alan Carr and brand deals.
Maybe Simon Cowell is key here. But Amanda Holdens agent and agency has got to be the one. Ekin Su has a fan base. She may need a celeb showbiz boyfriend.Someone as fame hungry as her.
Literally her ex husband was a famous comedien and she is not fading. Im glad to see an older woman stil on TVand radio. So good for hereven if he laugh is annoying.
Yeah, I saw that story about Ekin. Seems to be true as she unfollowed the agency and removed it from her insta bio.
She was signed up to WME as her worldwide agents 6 months ago (which is a big agency)..and Atlas Entertainment as her US management. Atlas still manage her, but WME supposedly dropped her after just 6 months(and she now appears to be without an agent). The Sun claimed it was because Ekin got a reputation as a mean girl on the couple of recent US shows and damaged her brand(but I'm not sure the US reality TV would care about such things). Could be Ekin just didn't want to pay a percentage if they weren't bringing her enough work.
Maura is still with CAA in the US (another very big agency) after 9 months. So looks pretty good with them until 'Dancing with the Stars' finishes at least(depends on how well she does really).
There was a good chunk of press last week about Maura potentially hosting the new series of 'Blind Date' for Disney+(it's now casting in the UK, link on the Blind Date insta).
I took it with a pinch of salt initially (as the press claimed Emily Atack got the gig 5 months ago)...but Maura is now following Blind Date on insta and vice versa..so it could be true. Supposed to start filming at the end of the year, so probably straight after DWTS finishes.
From the write up, the new 'Blind Date' appears to be a mix of the old show plus a bit of Love Island...as It films in an overseas resort for 1 month.
I'm guessing they'll start with the traditional behind the screen interviews where 1 gets to pick a from a choice of 3...then they are paired up to be filmed living in the resort. Wouldn't be surprised if the show then gets messy and allows people to repick/swap at various points/go on other Blind Dates.
