I might upset some people by saying this, but if your only child is in full time school and you haven't got a job, then I do think you have it easier than working mums. She has 30+ hours of free time when she can get anything done, go grab a coffee, housework, Christmas shopping etc etc and then she has her evenings free when Emily is in bed. Working mums have to juggle that all around a full time job, school pick ups etc. I don't think she is less of a human or mum for being unemployed, and if you can financially afford it then good for you, but is her life 98% easier than other mums? Absolutely, and if she can't see that then she is a bleeping moron.
This is beautifully put. Given the choice, I would love to be a SAHM and am genuinely happy for people that can afford to do this. However, it is a bit much hearing Carowhine moaning about how hard it is when I have to do all the things she mentioned and go to my full time job with 1.5 each way commute. It's crap and she should read the room.

There’s absolutely no question as to whether stay at home parents have it easier - of course they do! Obviously there are exceptions, like the parent who doesn’t earn enough to justify working and putting their child(ren) in childcare etc. but let’s just refer to people like Carowhine, her life is a piece of piss. She’s available at both ends of the school day, she has free time in between and she appears to be wealthy enough to waste lots of money on pointless things.
I don’t have the same opinion as many, I don’t think she should get a job if she genuinely doesn’t need to, she just needs to stop publicly speaking about how hard life is, trying to juggle school runs, xmas parties and shopping!

I think she should get a job when it means her husband is missing out on weeks of their daughters childhood all so Carowhine can piss it up the wall on asos basics tshirts

I don’t even think the message was even saying stay at home mums are “less than”, it was literally saying imagine if you had a job too!! I worked full time after my first and now I’m a stay at home mum of 2, 1 in primary, 1 at nursery. It made no financial sense for me to go back to work after my second and I’m incredibly lucky to be in the position I didn’t have to. I do however care for my MIL and do 60 mile school runs. My hat goes off to mums that fit everything in and work full time. I also would never ever think of going onto social media and bleating about having to remember when nativity was 🤦🏻‍♀️

Her selling the pyjamas she purchased to pose in has tipped me over the edge. She needs to read the room. The wastefulness is vulgar!

Absolutely hilarious that she thinks Ash is father of the year because he drove 2 hours to see Em in the nativity 🤣 how about he doesn't work away for 95% of the time so he can actually spend some quality time with his daughter? Imagine living in a long term relationship in your mind thirties with your husband and father of your child so he can wash buildings😭

Exactly, the only reason she is called a 'secretary' in their tax return is so they can claim for a home office, her phone, laptop, Christmas party etc. Her making a few phonecalls for his company and filing some receipts away doesn't make her an employee or counts as work lol. It always makes me giggle that he couldn't call her something fancier like accountant, no, he called his wife his secretary 😭 if she wasn't such a massive spoilt brat I would almost feel sorry for her.
