Anyone else watch her videos? She's known for lavish spending on designer goods, but the past year has been a lot. 3 Chanel flap bags within 2 months, on top of other Chanel items, jewellery, Hermes, LV, Dior etc etc etc. It's her money, but with the pandemic more "luxury youtubers" were opening up discussions about this type of constant hauling and unboxings and whether it really adds value to their lives.

Even people who are extremely wealthy in the UK don't shop to excess like this on mass produced bags and jewellery surely? Hopefully she's not getting into debt, she rarely shows any thing personal, even how she manages to store and take care of all these items so they don't degrade. Sophie Shohet has done multiple videos about her designer goods wearing and tearing in comparison.

Her spending habits changed overnight. LITERALLY. From buying only designer bags here and there, she now buys designer EVERYTHING. And 3 or 4 bags a month. It used to be she shopped for her clothes at Zara, H & M etc - now it's Chanel, LV, Dior and Loewe. Sugar daddy ? Escort ? I feel bad saying that out loud but it's very suspect.

And don't get me started on her wearing the clothes with the tags still on ... saying "I've worn this a few times ..." But the tags are still attached to the label !!! So, you haven't washed your clothes each time after wearing it ? Cos the tags don't look crumpled from the wash. She says she always wears her clothes with the tags still on. Not because she returns the clothes after an unboxing She's just too lazy to pull the tags off - that's her reasoning. Maybe she has weak wrists like Lydiot Millen. Liar liar.

What happened to her friend Laura ? She doesn't mention her at all anymore.

Honestly feel like Maria is one of the most vapid out there. She has next to no personality. All she cares about is buying things with a monogram on them.

I think she's an escort or sugar baby too. Her spending doesn't make sense otherwise, especially the sudden jump. Guess she found a more generous sugar daddy. She's suspiciously secretive about her job. She doesn't even mention the industry she's allegedly in when other luxury YTers do.She also seems to spend most of the day browsing shops. What working professional has time for that?She never shows herself working or talking about work.

I don't think her family is buying her this either. I remember on GuruGossip, someone pointed out that she wanted to flex and show off when she went back home... which doesn't really scream wealthy to me. If your family back home is already super rich and able to pay for all your shopping, why would you want to show off?

I do enjoy her shopping vlogs but am bothered by how she's always wasting the SAs time. Window shopping and browsing is fine, but when she's actually trying clothes on and getting the SAs to show her things she knows she's not going to buy... that seems inconsiderate. especially during a pandemic.

that really bothered me too about the shopping blogs before Xmas. Like, yes Maria over 100,000 people in the UK have died from covid and your prancing around Harrods spending thousands of £s wondering why no one else is doing the same. Make it make sense.

I’m not up to date with her uploads cause I’ve gotten fed up with seeing the same old same old but just wanted to add that she was acting like such a brat about her Chanel SA imposing the purchase quota on her. She got super pissy about it. Try shopping at Hermès honey, then you’ll know about quotas . She also soon switched her attitude when she managed to get what she wanted.

There was this vlog where she purposefully removed tags on camera, since she was going to Harrods and wanted that Balmain blazer. She cut those because she says "I keep all my clothes", with the smug face on.The fact that she wears newly bought clothes without washing it is disgusting and also her tongue piercing is also gross.

I’m quite shocked at how much she now spends. I remember when I used to follow her it seemed like she saved to afford luxury but clearly something has changed in her lifestyle. She is another luxury vlogger for me who doesn’t have any taste tbh. Most of her selections are label heavy but no actual direction in relation to her own personal taste (most likely because she doesn’t have a personal style).

I watched a video today where she was wearing a large Chanel belt, Chanel boots, Fendi bag but then made a purchase in Van Cleef & Arpels requesting a white bag so she doesn’t draw attention to herself?! The video reminded me of why I stopped watching her videos as she continuously asks SAs to drag everything out for her to come up with tired excuses of why she won’t purchase (too small, not her size, not her desired colour). Although it was irritating before, during the current climate it’s extremely worrying that she thinks that type of behaviour is necessary/appropriate.

Chanel have a purchase limit of 1 bag every 60 days and 2slgs per month. This is for Europe to prevent resellers and they are quite strict especially in Harrods where Maria frequents, therefore it doesn't quite add up as she definitely goes over this limit.

Interesting. I just discovered her videos yesterday and enjoyed watching the shop browsing because it's been so long since I've been able to do that where I am.

I immediately noticed that she doesn't seem to have any taste or a personal style. She "LOOOOOVEEEs" everything splashed with a logo and mixes monograms in her outfits which I think is a gross way to dress.

I noticed that she's spending incomprehensible amounts of money (multiple Chanel bags per month???) while also cabbing it everywhere and living in a tiny apartment that I can only assume is a rental... Her closet is also super small for the amount she purchases. It just didn't add up. Especially because her video views don't amount to the Adsense money needed to spend this much!

She had absolutely no regard for the SA and was just upset that she was inconvenienced by the employee being on holiday. A few other things I found suspishhhh about her vlogs:

- She flew economy from London to her mother's town... why??? Business class is not expensive on these euro flights, especially not for someone who buys 3 Chanels per month.

- Instead of a EU200 flight from her mother's town to Vienna, they opted for a 4 hour train ride in basic seats? I've been on those train rides, it's extremely uncomfortable. Why not a quick flight? It's out of character for the "ultra rich".

- She said that her parents were well off in Bulgaria when she was growing up and that she grew up "comfortable". The characterization seemed very fake to me - like an effort to make people think she grew up wealthy. But when answering another question she said she wasn't around nice things growing up and her eyes burst when she came to London for the first time and wanted all the beautiful things. Ummmm... what?

- And in the vlog where it's Lora's birthday, I found it super weird that she didn't give her friend her birthday gift during their lunch but wanted to wait until they got to Chanel for her to open the gift (which led me to believe she was kindly gifting her a Chanel gift card. Makes sense to wait until you get to the boutique t give it to her, right?). Then they get to the boutique and she gives Lora her gift. I couldn't believe it. It was a cheap ass phone case??? Not even a Chanel or designer brand... just some generic $20 iPhone case. Lora looked so underwhelmed. WHYYY????? You're at Chanel with your best friend on her birthday and you couldn't even get her some fashion jewelry maybe? Especially after you lead her to the boutique to open her gift. If it was just a phone case why didn't you just give it to her at lunch? So weird and the gift makes no sense if she has money. NONE.

I enjoy Maria's shopping blogs. She likes to flash logos but I do like some of the items she wears. However I'm very suspicious of her source of income. Like many of you pointed out her spending increased massively in the past few years. Correct if I'm wrong but I recall her saying in one of her Q&A's that she works in finance.
Also, I wonder if Laura feels comfortable joining Maria to her shopping trips to Chanel etc.
