Hi everyone! I've been reading a lot about Maria in the last few days. I talked about her with a friend, who found her hometown was Kazanlak(or Stara Zagora - one of them for sure), and also found her parents' Facebooks. They look like ordinary people. So her story sounds a lot like Anna Delvey's.

Her spending habits changed overnight. LITERALLY. From buying only designer bags here and there, she now buys designer EVERYTHING. And 3 or 4 bags a month. I wonder how her accent got worse as she tried to sound more posh. And she is shown --gasp--riding the public transportation. She is also a lot skinnier (by maybe 15 lbs) and you can see a dramatic boob job there (allegedly). There is no way that she has rich parents. Otherwise, they would have been financing her from back in those days. The plastic surgeries she has and the emphasis on maintaining a sexy appearance (tongue ring, huge boob job, huge lips, marilyn tattoo) and trying to sound really posh makes me think that she is a high paid escort. She gets paid to maintain a certain appearance and look a certain part. Sure, she could be a business woman, but I have never heard of any businesswoman who is smart spends like that on 5 of the same bag. Economist? They do not make that much. It is almost like she is trying to use the money as quickly as possible because she is laundering it or trying to avoid paying taxes on it or something. So she needs to buy a bag which she can then sell for cash. If you look at her instagram, she has a separate shopping accord where she sells things that she bought like 5 months ago and never wore. Literally never even wore once. She also seems to finish work at night and only shops during the week days, which is a dead give away that she doesnt have a job that goes by normal Mon-Fri 9-5 business hours either. It is possible also that she has a normal 9-5 job and escorts on the side, but she always seems to be free in the mornings. Most people I know who are making a lot of money or are running their own business are also in very high-stress, demanding jobs, often work late hours, and dont have time for the for the type of shenanigans she is always up to. Editing/filming/coming up with videos alone takes a lot of time and she uploads twice a week at least plus maintains a social media presence. Yeah. There is just no way.

A few other things I found suspishhhh about her vlogs:
- She flew economy from London to her mother's town... why??? Business class is not expensive on these euro flights, especially not for someone who buys 3 Chanels per month.
- Instead of a EU200 flight from her mother's town to Vienna, they opted for a 4 hour train ride in basic seats? I've been on those train rides, it's extremely uncomfortable. Why not a quick flight? It's out of character for the "ultra rich".
- She said that her parents were well off in Bulgaria when she was growing up and that she grew up "comfortable". The characterization seemed very fake to me - like an effort to make people think she grew up wealthy. But when answering another question she said she wasn't around nice things growing up and her eyes burst when she came to London for the first time and wanted all the beautiful things. Ummmm... what?
- And in the vlog where it's Lora's birthday, I found it super weird that she didn't give her friend her birthday gift during their lunch but wanted to wait until they got to Chanel for her to open the gift (which led me to believe she was kindly gifting her a Chanel gift card. Makes sense to wait until you get to the boutique t give it to her, right?). Then they get to the boutique and she gives Lora her gift. I couldn't believe it. It was a cheap ass phone case??? Not even a Chanel or designer brand... just some generic $20 iPhone case. Lora looked so underwhelmed. WHYYY????? You're at Chanel with your best friend on her birthday and you couldn't even get her some fashion jewelry maybe? Especially after you lead her to the boutique to open her gift. If it was just a phone case why didn't you just give it to her at lunch? So weird and the gift makes no sense if she has money. NONE.

I agree. I work in finance living in Hong Kong, I rent with my bf and I have my stocks/investments on the side and I still don't spend the same way she does. I go on shopping spree every quarter and that is based on how my stocks have performed. I work almost 12 hours a day so I can only go visit the shops on weekends. I can confidently say she doesn't work in Finance nor a corporate job at all.
The more I watch, the more convinced I am she's an escort/sex worker. I doubt she works in finance when she shops as often as she does. I also don't think she has a university education. If she did work, wouldn't she mention WFH, going to work, work outfits, etc at some point? Also even if she was in finance, unless she's at the top (in which case there would be information online about her work), she would not be earning enough to cover her spending. And we've ruled out her having a wealthy family...

Anyone notice in her new video how she says in her intro how she has "just finished work" so is off to Chanel..it's literally the morning and she has just finished work.. I assume she was on a long night shift the night before 
This girl is so ridiculous. No matter what she wears and how much she spends, her overall vibe is of a cowgirl in a farm. Every time I see her I miss the cow on the picture. The combination of the duck face and the logos from head to toe is hilarious, it's like she wears fakes.
