Mother’s Day afternoon tea at Fortnums- what a sell out brand! Such a shame. She’s giving spoiled smug princess vibes these days rather than fun and friendly baker.
I agree, she used to be far more down to earth and now comes across as smug far more than she used to. It was when she said she and her husband can go out to fancy dinners without the kids because of the life choices they've made, that I started to side-eye her.

What "choices" were those? Being born into and/or marrying money? Having family or friends nearby to babysit? It felt a bit tone-deaf of her.

And this is neither here nor there, but does she really dress her kids in Bonpoint and Jacardi just to go to nursery everyday??

I’m astounded at the way she framed the video. “You plebs see a beautiful bay window, but let me tell you why it’s way worse than you think. Then I’m going to show you how I got it made better for free! You plebs could never. Enjoy being even more jealous of my beautiful life” is what’s he might as well have said…

I'm sorry, but this one is too wild to scroll past 🫢😳

So have I got this right? The little guy wanders around the house in the middle of the night looking for Maman. Apparently his father can't comfort him (or is asleep?), so his five-year-old sister ends up stepping in and doing Dad's job? That happened more than once? And somehow the only takeaway is her own mum guilt?

If I were the husband, I'd be mortified to read this online. (I'd also be mortified that both my children were put in that situation in the first place.)

And what on earth makes her think this is a cute story to share?

Apparently he gets irritated about small things and she finds this overrated and unnecessary. Her comment about her friend using an overseas surrogate was peak entitlement too.

I would have loved to the read the rest of her very important thoughts, but she’s put them behind a paywall.

Manon, the people who probably need assistance in the healthy eating department are not rich London mums who have money to burn on your Substack subscription.

I thought the baking with Fleur reels were very cute but she's taken it to the next level now, in her drive to create content. When did it start? Was it around the tim she and Fleur went on an all-expenses paid trip to Paris, sponsored by Jacardi or Bonpoint? I remember lots of modelling and driving around in a mini with no seatbelts, and woe betide anyone who pointed that out. French mamans don't need seatbelts like the plebs!

Dear Manon, I fixed the last sentence for you, so it's more clear what you ACTUALLY mean 😁:

I've learnt along the way to focus my energy on what delivers shiny packages to my new London Townhouse everyday, so my expenses for food, clothes, jewellery, skin care, cleaning products, furniture, wall paper, kids's toys, prams, every single item in my kitchen and - most importantly - ALL MY VACATIONS are taken care of by PR agencies, so I can use 99% of my actual income to pay off mortgage for said new London townhouse and still soak in luxury.

It is so odd how she keeps harping on about having no childcare or help with her kids. This is normal. Does she only know people with nannies or something?

Spending three weeks with the kids while not working sounds like bliss honestly. Not having to follow the schedule of nursery or school, while also not having to juggle work - such a privilege.

I really think she needs to open her eyes to the reality of parenting. Most families do NOT have family or nannies to rely on. She is in the very privileged position of being able to pay for quality flexible childcare, but does nothing but act hard done by. Baffling.

Wouldn't it be great if she used her not inconsiderable public profile to say, lobby the government on UPFs or the fact that people eat them because they can't afford anything else, rather than to just try to get free shit from brands?

It's entirely normal to leave the pram at nursery. I used to do drop off on my way on my way to work so I wasn't going to cart it into the office!

It's not entirely normal to tag it (and everything else) every time you mention it in a Instagram post though.

Seriously? Gets all her vacations, clothing, toys, prams, furniture, food items, kitchen appliances plus the french dream kitchen for free... and has the audacity to whine about not not getting the brand deals she wants 🙄

Showing off her 160 £ Sezane dresses and french lingerie all the time, but doesn't care how she dresses? Who is she kidding?

At least she never misses an opportunity to let us know what a dedicated stellar mum she is...
"Showing myself taking a cold shower to the internet is so relentless"

Honestly she can just fuck off with this. How she thinks her life is relentless compared to the vast majority of parents of laughable.
She gets so much free stuff, free holidays, has the flexibility to "work" hours of her choice. She also does not acknowledge the work her children are putting in for their lifestyle, when they are too young to consent to their images and information being sold in exchange for a free Le Creuset.

Manon should thank her lucky stars honestly, lovely life, attractive woman but her head has gone now. She is addicted to the freebees and its all out of hand. You literally cannot take any affiliate (what does that even mean someone tell me), what is the difference between ad an pr? gift? I dont know but literally every post if not every other is a build up or shilling something. Manon - take a step back. its all becoming meaningless.

Dear Santa, all I want for Christmas is for Manon to post a picture without tagging everything in it. Here is my child eating a biscuit, here is where you can buy the same pyjamas, biscuits… surprised she hasn’t Aff linked the child!

Ha I came on for this!

It’s quite ironic really when Manon’s kids must see her with a portable screen at all times. Nothing wrong with not giving kids tablets but to be preachy about it when she’s hardly setting a good example is a bit rich.

Oh and in case anyone wondered...

📢📢📢
Manon does not do portable screens.
Like EVER.

You're welcome 😇

My approach is live and let live, just don't be a sanctimonious prick about it. I honestly give zero shits that her children have "no portable screens", but I do give a shit that she constantly bangs on about it and clearly sees herself as superior because of it.
Well, she’s a tiny island of one person, believing she’s the only maman enforcing screen time rules.

Meanwhile we’re all over here with nicely balanced screen rules, and children whose lives and privacy are not for sale, whose faces and homes aren’t shared with thousands of strangers.

I know which judgey seat I’d rather be in!

She's always been more than willing to dump the kids with the hotel babysitter so that she can have dîner a deux with Papa. I think it's a very French mindset, that you need to put your man first even when you have young kids, lest he run off with la secretaire.
