MIL looking after the kids in the same week she moaned multiple times about the nursery being ‘their village,’ because they had no family to help with kids. As if everyone else has family, and they’re super special for soldiering on uniquely unsupported. Yet here we are, kids with their grandmother! And they just spent weeks staying with family? For somebody who gets ‘no family support,’ just in this summer alone, she’s had more family support with her kids than I’ve had in ten years. The difference is, I know that’s not unusual! It’s just what you sign up to when you have kids!

I feel like its quite a French stereotype to prioritise you and dad's sex life and relationship to this extent and to constantly write about how you feel soo hard done by because you had kids. She annoys me by saying in one sentence how blessed she is and in the next sentence moaning about how they have it so hard, have no village etc. You had kids in a foreign country amd your other half's family is almost the same distance away, what did you expect? Most people in London are in the same boat nowadays. She could stay at home with the kids and hve the easiest life ever but for whatever reason put them both in nursery pretty early and uses whatever childcare she can get, even and in fact especially on holidayDon't they have an elderly neighbour who babysits a fair bit?
Yes they did or do and dial a sitter - mind that time left the kids upstairs or in room whilst they dined in the restaurant. Fair enough it was within the house so to speak though could have woken and wandered or anything. Off to a 40th (someone’s) avec kids she must be reading here as that’s a subtle dig. Or does she not want us to think she gets some Saturday alone time to go to a party. She would go to the opening of an envelope and she does always manages to get ready in 10 minutes after 5 minutes sleep all night.

It most definitely is. Also “baby’s room”? He’s over 1! Or is a quiet 3rd baby announcement. She did similar by referring to ‘cravings’ about a month before announcing her pregnancy with Raffy. Oops sorry, Raphaël.

Note they don’t go anywhere without kids club or babysitters on speed dial. Heaven forbid they don’t get alone time or are able to pap the kids off somewhere. Amazed they don’t send them to boarding school and can come home on the weekends.
