I haven't looked into the ruling too closely but presumably there was more going on than posters saying the two claimants were a bit pretentious/smug and weren't declaring ads!
I'm glad this has been raised. I genuinely enjoyed her content and didn't mind the occasional ad but this is now all of her content with an occasional recipe thrown in. I think there's a fine line between smug and aspirational and she hasn't managed it.
I understand that she has opportunities and she wants to make the most of them but they are consistent and I don't like the feeling of being misled.
There was also a post a few months ago about how her and her partner could only put their children in nursery a few days a week because they found everything so expensive.
I also find the use of her children revolting. I think it's utter hypocrisy to use her children to promote various brands. They can't consent and I question whether they're being paid for their contributions. Her post about the "dark side of influencing" was tone deaf when she is involved using her children for financial gain.
She had a USP and following from being on GBBO but I think she knows her popularity is running out and is making the most of it whilst it lasts.

there's not such thing a freedom of speech in the UK or EU. It's all false. People are being dragged out of their homes for NONE threatening posts on facebook or X and being tried in the smallest court rooms away from the media limelight. We live in a policed state, if your posts are too intrusive (where she lives, her husbands Linkedin) i would suggest taking it down until this boils over. Not tying to fear monger but just being honest. Unfortunately we aren't like the USA with their Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act we do have the 2023 Online Safety Act that can leak the actual names/IPs/email of the people on here.

Maybe I'm being mean but it seems a little disingenuous to write about owning a townhouse when you don't own the entire thing. I assumed they did given the way it was described. There's no shame in living in a maisonette (it is French after all) but it just speaks of the dishonesty that is very quickly becoming her brand.
I am so weary of instagrammers saying that people who do not have nice things to say can unlike and move on.
Why can’t people ask questions or express opinions that don’t directly align with your own Manon? We certainly can’t do it in the comments, where they are swiftly deleted because they do not support the brand you’re selling.
And that is why people comment openly elsewhere.

Thanks for the concern Manon, but I'm actually a very happy person, I have a great life, a lovely family, strong real life social connections.
I also see through the influencer bull, and enjoy a laugh and tattle ticks those boxes.
We're not all sad, pathetic losers who sit at home 24/7 stuck on here, we just don't agree with everything you do and that is evidently very painful for you!
The presumption that those who dare to disagree must be sad, lonely and disturbed is quite the ego flex!
The thoughtful and articulate discourse on many Tattle threads (admittedly not all!) speaks for itself. And it speaks out against the grifting exploitation perpetuated by instagrammers.
As you're clearly reading here Marion, keep your children off social media! Doesn't matter how much you (allegedly) don't give them screen time if you are exploiting them for money

I wonder if Manon has been reading this thread because the latest Ocado story is super positive about British this and British that. It’s almost as if she’s taken on board the criticism that she spends all her time talking about how much better everything French is whilst choosing to live and bring her children up in London I guess at least she’s being self-reflective!
I posted a fairly long response to one of the comments on her sub stack post about sharing stuff about her kids on social media and she said she understood and agreed with me, but not sure she really gets how sinister stuff involving kids can get on the internet. She’s still sharing them online even after writing that substack article.
And actually it’s not just kids. The New Age of Sexism by Laura Bates lifts the lid on the total horrors of what AI can do, and if she read it I’m not sure she’d be in quite so much of a hurry to post photos or videos of herself half-naked or getting dressed, no matter how chic or sophistiquée her lingerie. Give the episode of Sara & Cariad’s Weirdo’s Book Club about the book a listen for the gist

I watched her latest video without reading the caption first. I could tell *within seconds* that it was an AD. Of course her caption does NOT mention it being an ad until the end with her half-hidden “pr trip”. REPORT!
