I subscribed and my subscription was not renewed as I had a new credit card but I still have access to everything, months later. Mia doing the subs eps is so painful. She really people me to tears. Just her voice and the way she speaks. Don’t even get me started on the big I LOVE YOU to her subscribers at the end of every episode. So disingenuous.
Agreed Claire is great I hope she finds way better opportunity. I’m going to assume the well pod will be axed as she had moved to that over the quicky. Intrigued to see what stays/what’s axed in there next few months.
How can an editor/producer etc be made redundant in a media company? (Legally speaking)
Legally speaking, they just need to state their reasons and those reasons to be true if they were investigated. Eg not making money, change in strategy, change in geographic locations, etc
I don’t follow mamamia anymore (I didn’t back when Rosie did Bach recaps)…. Is redundancies etc the demise of MM? Also why is the twin that quit now back working at MM?
It’s not difficult to make someone redundant legally. But making Claire redundant is morally diabolical while they’ve kept on some of their other ‘talent’.

She might say she has no hard feelings but there’s definitely coming through in her piece. And I don’t blame her at all. MM is really embracing the quantity over quality churnalism. Once upon a time they had some articles that were worth a read, now they’re absolute tat.
Very disappointed to see Claire go. They have way too many podcasts now and it’s definitely quantity over quality now. I have been listening to MMOL a bit more now that Mia is no longer on there. I feel like they have a better mix of age groups and life stages now and the banter seems more relaxed and natural, everyone seems more comfortable sharing their opinions without being constantly spoken over or challenged by Mia. But what in the fresh hell is going on with Mia’s wardrobe??? What is a shant

Strange things are happening at MM. You Beauty is moving to only once per week. I’m guessing listenership is way down. And Eat, Sleep, Repeat (Kelly and Kee’s parenting pod) was acquired by MM and now they finishing up. Intriguing! Are thing not do sunny over there in Mia’s conglomerate??
Why would they acquire a podcast and not continue with the hosts? Strange
