Mamamia #4

This is from the SMH facebook page. I think the issue isn’t just that it’s a child of the founders, but the fact that a male has been appointed the CEO of ‘the nations largest-women’s focused media company’. I wonder what the recruitment process was like?? Not a great headline!

Mamamia is on struggle street overall. They seems to be lost on any form of direction maybe the hope is Luca will bring that back, but I’m not so sure. Like the above article mentions it’s hypocritical to have a male as the ceo when your “supposed” to be championing woman (even though it known Mia doesn’t always).
The simple issues with the pod quality have been expressed ( Ad repeats, the pods stops/restarts with a many other issues) yet all Mamamia can say is it’s apples fault. Yet I’ve got no other issues with any other pod on Apple. That alone and the flippant nature is really off putting for a business that wants to keep the people.

I think Luca being CEO is my last straw. I can't even hate listen to Mamamia anymore.

Also someone needs to tell Amelia Lester that the past tense of bring is brought, not bought. Bought is the past tense of buy. A topic was brought up, not bought up.

I'll still visit this thread though... I'm a hater forever. An ethical, nuanced, considered hater.

It is diabolical to me that he is the CEO. If the ship is sinking, bring someone in with actual experience, who is brave enough to make big moves, and who knows how to set a strategic direction for the company and follow it through. There’s no way he can do any of that at the age of 28 with one workplace under his belt.

Were there truly no senior execs from the media industry available???? Absolute rubbish

Lol Luca's sister (also on the payroll) and Jessie's brothers are writing snarky comments back to people with criticism in the AFR instagram post. How embarrassing.

Lucky they can’t delete those ones like they do any criticism on their own pages
