The Australian Podcast awards were held last night. Didn’t see any mention of them being there and they definitely didn’t win anything, not sure if they even got any nominations. All those podcasts and no awards! They’ve definitely gone for quantity over quality.

You have to submit your work and pay a fee to be considered for nomination - it’s a bit of a sham awards thing and most of the bigger industry people are sort of getting over it a bit now.

You just know that's the kind of thing Mia would spend money on, though. She already claims they're the best women's podcast in Australia, she'd want some kind of trophy to back that up.

Found it pretty offensive that they would create a (very pale) imitation of Australian birth stories, which is an independent woman owned business that has just been so organically excellent for women in Australia. Not very ‘lady start up’ of them.

I agree, it’s pretty blatant.

But like someone mentioned above, any excuse for Jessie to blab about her incredible birth story and juxtapose it to Claire’s traumatic one again.
